"Dear (mental) Diary,
It's been six days since I left the Vault, and I'm already learning lots of new things about the surface world. Like today, I met these nice young women who said it was a surface custom to swap clothes. I was a little hesitant seeing as this would mean swapping my vault suit and all, but they said this was totally a thing. Then they chained me to a post and put a gag in my mouth. I'm not sure what surface custom this is, but they said they'd come back to give me their clothes in a little while. That was a few hours ago now, and it's getting a little dark, but I'm sure they'll be back soon. It's not like I have any reason not to trust them!
