TERROR AT THE DIG SITE

Terror and uncertainty gripped The Valley of the Kings last night, as the Oxford Universites digsite was struck by brutal murders and strange almost supernatural occurrences. The bodies of two female students were found dead, Harriet Kendall, 21, was found with her throat crushed outside the digsite perimeter. Curiously, she was found completely stripped of all her clothing and possessions, police believe an unknown female suspect had murdered the student, and taken her clothes to affect entry onto the digsite. The other victim was Emma Cosgrave, 20, from the same class as Ms Kendall, she was found dead also stripped of her clothing and possessions. Police are baffled as to explain the cause of death, but are certain that she was also a victim of foul play possibly by a second female suspect. As Ms Cosgrave's body was found near an ancient sarcophagus, police are also investigating the theft of rare antiquities of important historical value. In a further bizarre twist, the digsite was beset by a hoarde of locusts in the same night. Many rumours are attributing this to the curse of Anck-su-namun, but they are being disregarded as merely superstitious nonsense.

Police have found the vehicle, last seen driving away from the digsite, abandoned only to discover the naked corpse of missing American tourist, Harper Weston, 23, in the jeeps trunk. Her throat was also crushed in a similar manner to Ms Kendall. Police now believe she was murdered by the same female suspect, who stole her clothes and vehicle to drive to the digsite.

All next of kin and respective Embassy officials have been notified.
