After the elite Lightning Strike Commandos captured the HQ bunker they didn't want to have to lose troopers to guarding the enemy soldiers who had manned the centre.
Fortunately, being a 24/7 operation the HQ had a stock of beds that the commandos were able to use to secure the POWs without having to worry about guarding them.
