The Spies thought it strange that Zerlina contacted them via communicators rather than have them vacuum-tubed to WHOOP HQ.
That's because someone had replaced Zerlina in an effort to give them a phony assignment that would lead them into a trap! And as the real Zerlina squirms impotently in a nearby closet, it looks like the dastardly duplicate will succeed in her malevolent mission.
But she won't be there long. Zerlina's double plans to take the unfortunate spymaster with her to share the fate planned for Alex, Clover and Sam!
