"Been clearing your plate each night, have ya?" Neasa grunted as she dragged the Snow Angel into the quonset hut with no small amount of difficulty. The girl didn't answer, her eyes blank and half-closed through the holes in her balaclava. Finally, flipping her own hood down and wiping her forehead with a gloved hand, Neasa let the girl slump next to a snowcat. "Nasty gas-belchin' thing," she muttered as it orange panels loomed over her.

Temporarily pausing to catch her breath, she glanced back toward the open door, the blizzard outside already driving a fog of snow into the hut's interior. Ah well, not to worry now. The sign on this building said "maintenance", and Neasa figured--hoped, more like--that the Snow Angels' maintenance schedule would be empty with a storm raging. For the moment, she was undisturbed with her catch.

Neasa's mission sounded simple: break into a subarctic station, gather information on the security the Snow Angels were providing to a client, and get out again. Easy! Sure, the Snow Angels were one of the world's leading cold-weather PMCs and their client was one of the largest (and most ruthless) petroleum companies on the planet, but the price of failure was letting said company obliterate irreplaceable arctic ecosystems for profit! She couldn't let that happen--and so she wouldn't.

"And to do that I've gotta move around here without raising suspicion, which means I need your clothes, ya Michelin Man-looking slag!" she hissed at the limp Angel. Kneeling down, she unbuckled and unzipped the girl's snowsuit, tugging, yanking, and swearing softly until she'd freed an arm from the puffy garment. Undressing the Snow Angel was proving no easier than subduing and dragging her had been.

As Neasa peeled the girl's balaclava away from her pale face, her head once again snapped towards the doorway. Was that a voice? She stayed frozen for a moment, eyeing the Angel's rifle before staring back out into the swirling whiteout. Finally she turned back to her task. "Up here for a day and I'm already seein' things," she chided herself. She patted the Angel's cheek appreciatively. "I don't know how you Snow Hussies do it!"
