Castle: Richard Castle's Deadly Storm

Post by rufusluciusivan »

I found that one thanks to the X account of someone named Comic Captures. (Said account also features a few other USB scenes featuring bound-and-gagged ladies which have already been uploaded here such as the ones from G.I. Joe of Black Widow comics.)

I quickly skimmed through the whole issue, and there seems to be an identity and clothes stealing. Basically, the main characters are stealing the identities of a couple on a honeymoon as part of some complicated scheme. The blond girl they mug is daughter of an ex-CIA, that's why they target her.

The whole issue shows the depth of their plan. In fact, the heroine is actually a brunette and seems to be using a wig, and they spend quite the time observing and preparing the mugging.

We only get a glimpse of the ambush, and sadly it appears the heroes ambushed the couple while they were already undressed for their honeymoon, the blonde appears to be in some nightwear. However they do take clothes of their wardrobe and their identities, so since the artstyle is gorgeous I wanted to share the scene with you.

The whole issue can be found here, but since this is ReadComicsOnline, don't forget your addblocker. The proper set-up of the scene, with the duo entering the hotel at the same time as their targets and preparing the whole identity theft begins with page 62. On page 63, you even see the blond victime trying the garment the heroine will ultimately steal. The mugging proper begins on page 67.

(Only link because unfortunately, it's impossible to download and share direct links with ReadComicsOnline.)

Great find, and the art is wonderful. I no longer trust Readcomiconline (spams far too many ads, even with a blocker), but I was able to find the scans for the full scene elsewhere.

Note that the heroine disguised herself as a hotel maid in order to get into her target's room. The comic doesn't show how she got the uniform, but we can always imagine...

Odd. Plain old AdBlock module on Firefox is enough for me. Which website do you use then?

Given the fact she pays several times the hotel staff and pretends to be a bored woman looking for some kinky fun, the most probable scenario is that she rented (or bribed someone for) a spare maid uniform. However, I agree, it's a lot funner to pretend she grabbed the uniform USB-style... ;)

I use Norton for adblocking. (Perhaps I don't have the settings right.) But I've generally found batcave.biz to be an easier site to use lately for comic book scans (though you can't paste directly from there either).

Also notable is that the victim returns in the climax of the story, having somehow gotten free, and tries to kill the woman who mugged her. Always love payoff scenes like that. (The story ends with the heroine apparently killed, but she is revealed to have faked her death in the next book, because this is comics.)
