The Imperial Base Inspector:- File 01 Naboo:- A Star Wars USB Tale

Post by Stormtrooper1990 »

In the first of a new Star Wars series, ISB Code breaker Lieutenant JG Satine Falére, a one time decorated imperial stormtrooper is about to get thrust into a new department with a new directive; to test the security of the Empire's bases across the galaxy. In light of recent rebel successes in the outer rim, the emperor has decreed the formation of a new secretive department of the ISB:- the Office of Internal Efficiency. Their role is to better prepare the Empire to guard against potential rebel infiltration and ensure imperial dominance throughout the galaxy. This is the beginning of her story…

The Camp of Saw Guerrera, Outskirts of Jedha City, Jedha, 11 BBY 10:00am

“No! You leave her alone, you rebel scum! She's only 18!” stormtrooper TK-243 cried, banging her fist against the door to her cell. The screams of her best friend, trooper TK-372 real name Jan Kimball of Corellia, rang through her ears as whatever the borgullet was doing to her mind echoed from further down the hall. Her guard grunted, a young female rebel clad in a black leather jacket matching cargo pants, white tank top and knee length laced leather boots, face concealed by goggles and a cloth head scarf. “She's just another imp, like you. You all deserve to die for what you did to the jedi.” She snarled, inching closer to the door gripping her stolen E-11 blaster rifle. “Now sit your imperial ass back down, before I blast you and give you a quick merciful death.” The girl laughed as she retreated back to her post. TK-243 kicked the door in a rage. “The force take you, rebel bitch! I will get out of here and rescue my friend. And when I do you'll all pay for this, the empire never forgives!”

Letting out a snarl of rage, TK-243 sat back down on the stone slab that was her bed running her hands through her shoulder length crimson hair, that framed an attractive squared freckled face and big ice blue eyes. Out of her entire patrol, she and Jan were the only ones left. I'm not going to die in this godforsaken place, I’am going to get myself and Jan out of here. Just need a plan.” Cupping her face in her hands, she took a deep breath…

The Department of Codes and Ciphers 3rd floor, Imperial Security Bureau, Coruscant, 5 BBY, 13:00pm

23 year old Lieutenant Junior Grade Satine Falére blinked, shaking herself awake from the unhappy memory of Jedha five years ago. Taking off her black officers cap, she ran her fingers through her short crimson hair, tied back into a ponytail. Staring into her terminal, Satine remembered what it was she was doing before she had dozed off. “Lieutenant Falére!” Barked the deep voice of her supervisor Captain Darrow caught her attention. He was a corpulent man bursting out of his white uniform jacket with balding brown hair, thick mustache and wet blue eyes. “Y-yes captain?” She stuttered hurriedly, replacing her hat onto her head. “Is this about those code intercepts for Deneb?”

The man sighed impatiently, leaning over her cubicle. “You were supposed to have those decoded a half hour ago. And here I find you, asleep at your post. What gives Lieutenant?” She leant back into her chair. “Apologies captain, I must have dozed off. I will get right on it.” She said through gritted teeth. The man shook his head. “I know that you're supposed to be some kind of hero and that you're the smartest woman in here, but you are putting imperial lives at stake by slacking off like this.” Satine shot up from her chair, balling up her fists in anger. “Where the bloody hell were you when I was trapped on Jedha!” Her sudden outburst had drawn stares from all around her.

Darrow breathed, rearing back slightly. “ Perhaps you should take a break and freshen up, Lieutenant? I’ll forgive that outburst just this once on account of your record.” Nodding Satine took a deep breath, straightened out her uniform and saluted the man. “Thank you, sir.” Walking around her cubicle she made her way to the sanctuary of the women's bathroom.

Ladies Bathroom

Pompous ass, just the sort of political officer that drags the Empire down. I wish I had a more exciting position, something that will really make a difference. Satine thought splashing water on her face. Glancing at the reflection in the mirror, she saw a beautiful young woman with a slim athletic figure who had come far from her days running around playing clones and droids on the streets of Theed, but her big blue eyes had seen more than anyone else in her section. As she was drying her hands and straightening the cap onto her head, Satine saw a young attractive blonde ensign dressed in an all black uniform flashing her a salute.

“Is there something I can do for you, ensign?” She asked, returning the salute. The woman tucked her hands behind her back. “Lieutenant Falére. I’am Ensign Tanya Milvus, assistant to Director Nils Brennic, head of the Office of Internal Efficiency. He's requested to see you, right away.” Pausing to dry her hands, Satine flashed the young Ensign a quizzical look. “I have never even heard of a Director Brennic or this Office of Internal Efficiency and I’ve been here for nearly 5 years.” She crossed her arms under her breasts. “What's this all about? Am I under review?” The blonde shook her head. “No ma’am, but if you'd follow me I’m sure he'll answer all your questions.” She held out her arm towards the door. “Very well, you've piqued my interest. Lead the way, Ensign Milvus.” With a mixture of curiosity and trepidation, Satine followed Tanya from the bathroom.

The Office of Director Nils Brennic, 50th Floor, Imperial Security Bureau, 13:20pm

“Director Brennic. I have Lieutenant Falére here to see you.” The blonde woman said as she sat at her desk, pressing a small intercom. On the turbo lift up, the trip hadn't been easy. After her capture and later escape from Saw Guerrera, Satine had developed post traumatic stress disorder which manifested itself by her dislike of tight spaces. “Very good, Ensign send her in.” said an authoritative but warm voice from the intercom that brought her back to the present, for a second Satine was reminded of her father Darryl. Tanya looked back up at her. “The Director will see you now, lieutenant.” She flashed her salute before returning to her duties. Repeating the gesture, the redheaded lieutenant walked through the Director's sliding door.

She entered to find a tall, heavyset bald man dressed in the white uniform and cape of an ISB Director, gazing out into the spires of the Coruscant skyline. “Lieutenant Satine Falére.” He turned around revealing a grizzled but patrician face with one good violet eye, the other covered by a black eye patch that concealed a long vertical scar underneath. His rank board, a collection of red, blues and amber's pinned proudly on his chest. Satine immediately flashed him a parade perfect salute. “At ease.” He nodded, returning the gesture and holding his hand out which Satine returned with a firm grip. “Please take a seat, we've much to discuss.”

Taking a seat opposite her, Brennic brought up her file. “Lieutenant Satine Falére, aged 23. Born on Naboo, Theed City no less to a mechnik mother and police officer father. When you turned 14 you attended the Academy of Technology in Theed, graduated at the top of your class.” He paused for a moment to drink a glass of water, Satine fidgeted in her seat impatiently. “Your instructors noted your high intelligence, charisma, technical ability and interest in piloting…” She took a deep breath, daring to interrupt him. “ Once I turned 17, I spent a year as a mechnik in the Naboo Royal Guard and even trained as a pilot although I never got full accreditation. That was before I applied for the fleet academy on Coruscant. I know about my life history sir and with respect that's not the reason why you asked for me.”

Brennic smiled leaning through his holographic display. “You're sharp as a whip, I like that. No, the reason why I asked for you is this. How come such a promising young officer like yourself get made stormtrooper and deployed to a forsaken rock like Jedha?” Satine reached for the metal jug, pouring out a measure of water. “Because some idiot at the transfer office switched my transit papers around in a fit of bureaucratic SNAFU and I ended up doing 6 months of hell…” she stopped taking a gulp of water as Brennic finished her sentence. “Yes, it says here that your unit was captured by Gererra’s rebels and only you escaped by killing a rebel and stealing her clothes to escape.” Satine shuddered at the memory. “I lost so many of my friends to that animal and I did what I had to survive.” Brennic regarded her with his good eye. “You did well in a desperate situation, don't blame yourself for their deaths lieutenant.” The redhead gazed out of the window over his shoulder for a moment. “And here I’am. With a promotion flying a desk and nothing to show for it.”

The Director leant back into his chair. “Tell me something, Lieutenant. Why did you join the Empire?” Satine took a deep breath leaning forward. “To serve the people of the galaxy and to make it a safer place, sir.” To her surprise, the Director smiled. “Your loyalty is commendable, Lieutenant. To be frank, the Empire needs more officers like you who join us for the right reasons and not just in it for their own gain or simple xenophobia. Which is why I’m going to extend you an offer. Join my staff as a field inspector for my department and put those skills of yours to better use, truly make a difference.”

Satine raised her eyebrows. “What will I be doing for you exactly? You said something about inspections?” The Director leant forward tenting his fingers. “You'll be infiltrating our bases and testing out their security protocols. Testing them to make sure they are up to snuff in the event of a rebel infiltration. You are free to use any means at your disposal but no killing, these are still our imperial brothers and sisters after all.” The woman cupped her chin, interest piqued. “And what's going to happen to those that fail these tests of yours?” The man grinned. “They will be made to attend a mandatory course to teach them how to spot infiltrators. Taught by you, of course.”

Satine chuckled, shaking her head. “With respect, sir. Officers are pompous asses and they are not going to listen to a young female lieutenant who's never been to the academy.” The Director's eye blinked once, smiling. “You make a good point. How about a promotion to Captain along with a level 2 clearance if you accept? They are going to have to take you seriously then.” The redhead reared back in surprise. “W-well I don't know what to say, sir. This is all very sudden.” Getting up and walking around his desk, Brennic leant against his desk. “Lieutenant. Do you want to spend the rest of your career flying a desk and sifting through code intercepts? Or do something that will actually make a difference and bring the Empire victory.” He held his hand, smiling.”

Looking at the man's one good eye, Satine saw the same old look her father would give her to lift her spirits. Then in an instant her mind was made up, she stood up and shook Brennic’s hand. “Well when you put it like that, sir. How can I refuse? I’m in.” Brennic chuckled, gripping her hand firmly before withdrawing it and walking back around his desk, opening one of the drawers. “That's just what I wanted to hear, welcome to the OIE…captain.” The man winked handing her over a new rank board and a couple of new code cylinders which she put on. “You'll need to head down to the hangar level and see Ensign Cora Yenner. She's your pilot and assistant. The details of your first assignment are with her, along with your equipment..” He then flashed her a final salute. “Good luck, Captain Falére. Long live the Empire! Dismissed!” She returned it with a grin. “Long live the Empire.” Turning on her heel she swiftly left the Director's office, not relishing another ride in the turbo lift.

ISB Hangar, 30th Floor, 13:40pm

Feeling comfort from the sound of clanking metal, and the sparking of blow torches from busy mechniks Satine walked through the hangar deck, past Lambda class shuttles, landing craft and towards a sleek old clone wars era marauder class attack shuttle. At the port landing gear she spotted a platinum blonde mechnik performing routine maintenance, dressed in a black pilots jumpsuit, with the imperial wheel on the left shoulder and yellow piping along the arms and legs, the mark of an ace pilot. She swiftly approached the woman. “A marauder class attack shuttle? A thing of beauty. They sure don't make them like that anymore.” The pilot shut off her torch before turning and lifting up her visor. “They sure don't, ma’am.” The blue skinned Pantoran saluted her big blue eyes shone in the low light, cheekbones emphasised by gold face markings. Satine had to admit she was pretty. “None of these lambda class shuttles could hold a candle to her. Plus take a look at those guns. So what can I do for you, captain? You look a little lost.”

“I’m looking for an Ensign Cora Yenner? I was told you have my mission brief.” The Pantoran’s eyes widened before she held out her hand. “Then you've just found her, Ensign Cora Yenner. Imperial Navy but on secondment to the ISB. At your service.” Satine took her hand, finding it soft but with a firm grip. “Captain Satine Falére, the new recruit. Sorry but I wasn't expecting you to be…” Cora smiled thinly. “...blue? No offence taken, ma’am. Few humans know we are just as loyal to the Empire as they are. I graduated at the top of my class at the flight academy on Corulag and won the right to wear my yellow strips after shooting down 10 rebels over Ord Mantell. I won't be told by anyone I don't belong.” Satine nodded as the two walked up the boarding ramp. “As far as I’am concerned, ensign Yenner, you're a loyal servant of the empire no matter what colour you are. I look forward to working with you.” The Pantoran grinned pressing the button to close the ramp. “Likewise Captain. And thank you.”

Aboard the Marauder Class Attack Shuttle, Adjudicator, 13:52pm

Leading Satine over to a small table, laden with equipment set into the centre of the crew compartment, Cora handed her a datapad. “Here’s the details of your first assignment, skipper.” Satine’s eyes widened seeing a very familiar blue green globe on the screen. “Naboo? Huh, looks like I’am going home again…” Cora’s brow furrowed. “What was that, ma’am? Are you from Naboo?” The captain nodded her head. “Mhm. I haven't been back in 5 years, or seen my family.” Sighing she shook her head focusing on the mission. “There's an imperial communications base just on the outsides of Theed. There's been a few security leaks recently and Brennic wants a full security evaluation and if possible trace the source of the leak.”

Cora flashed her a salute. “Very good skipper. Let's get into the cockpit and I’ll get us to Naboo in no time.” Following the Pantoran in the cockpit, Satine watched as the ace pilot received permission to depart before manoeuvring out of the hangar and shooting up into Coruscant’s upper atmosphere. “Whoa! I forgot what space looks like. I haven't been off-world in 5 years.” Satine said open mouthed as she gazed at the vast expanse of space. The Pantoran winked and activated the hyderdrive. “It never gets old, does it?” Leaning back into the co-pilot's chair, Captain Falére smiled as the shuttle flashed into hyperspace.

Naboo Orbit, 15:25pm

Having changed into a green ISB field uniform, Satine looked over her new equipment smiling as she picked up a shiny all black boxy PIP droid. “I haven't used one of these since my days in the Royal Guard.” The little droid switched on, beeping a greeting. “Hello, IO-4N. Or shall I call you Iona?” The droid whistled in approval as Satine slotted it into her equipment belt. “It's the latest model, skipper.” Said Cora entering the crew compartment wearing a standard shuttle pilots uniform, standing shoulder to shoulder with her. “You can pick any lock or slice any console with that baby. Then there's this…” she handed Satine a small telescopic baton which she flicked out and switched on, feeling the crackling of static electricity. “A bothan stun stick. I’ve always wanted one of these, made by infiltrators for infiltrators.” The Pantoran nodded. “Well, our version anyway. Unlike the original it has three settings; low, medium and lethal. And it can put a subject down for 3 to 4 hours.”

Switching off the baton and sheathing it, Satine noticed a small nondescript black box sitting on the table. Picking it up she opened it to reveal needles full of synthetic sedatives. “Trazpodene? The ISB uses this to capture and sedate Rebels out in the field, keeps the subjects sleeping for 6 hours.” Cora nodded. “Brennic wanted you to have a more discreet option once you're inside the base.” pocketing the needles she smiled. “Well, looks like I’m all set. All I need is a way into the base.” The Pantoran pilot gestured behind her with a cock of her head towards the rear cargo bay. “Well, if you'd follow me skipper I have just the thing.”

Satine shook her head at the large empty cargo container. “I-I’m not getting into that thing, Ensign.” Cora took her gently by the shoulders. “What's wrong, skipper. You're not claustrophobic are you? The rebels do this all the time, according to reports.” The young captain nodded. “It's just that I’m not too good with tight spaces…not after Jedha.” The Pantoran smiled tapping her ear. “Don't worry, we'll be in constant communication and if that fails to reassure you…” she picked up a small flashlight, pressing it into the redhead's palm. “...use this to keep out the darkness but don't forget to switch it off once we reach the surface. Or it's going to be a very short inspection.”

Satine smiled and took a deep breath as Cora released her hands. “...All right, I can do this. For the Empire…” she breathed as she clambered reluctantly into the crate. “For the Empire, skipper. See you on the other side.” Winked the Pantoran, sealing up the crate and leaving Satine in darkness.

The Cargo Landing Pad, Imperial Communication Base, 5km northeast of Theed, Naboo, 15:35pm

Slapping a swamp fly on her neck irritably, Imperial Technician Second Class Claire Trimmel from Corellian busied herself with taking inventory of the latest delivery of ration biscuits. As her fingers danced across her datapad, Claire looked up, sighing as she saw the glittering domes of Theed on the horizon, lamenting the fact that her shift wouldn't be over for the next 8 hours. At 23, Claire was a looker with slightly freckled heart shaped features, high cheekbones and light doe shaped blue-green eyes, her long chestnut coloured hair braided in a ponytail underneath her flat grey cap. She was dressed in a form fitting light grey jumpsuit, with the imperial wheel stitched into the left shoulder, and black laced ankle boots.

Creaking her neck out of pure boredom, Claire looked up to see an approaching silhouette of an imperial shuttle on the horizon. “That's strange. We aren't expecting another delivery for at least another four days.” Said Garret Palmer, a young blond technician hailing from Hosnian Prime. Claire nodded as they watched the silhouette get closer and closer. “Yeah and that's an old marauder class attack shuttle. That's Clone Wars ancient.” Palmer shrugged as the shark-like shuttles descended into a landing vector. “Damn thing belongs in a museum. Well let's see what he wants.” They watched as the boarding ramp descended.

“What can we do for you, pilot? We're not expecting another delivery today?” Asked Claire as the female Pantoran pilot walked down the ramp, pushing a large crate. “What didn't the dock manager didn't tell you?” The two technicians swapped glances. “Told us what, exactly?” Piped up Garrett. The blue skinned Pantoran leaned on the crate. “That I’ve got his latest shipment of the best Corellian ale this side of the core worlds.” Claire felt a warm feeling run down her spine at the thought of a little taste of home, it had been a while since she last partook. “That's contraband! We should report you to the base commander for smuggling!” Piped up Garrett, next to him Claire shot him a sneer. “Oh come on, Garrett! Since when have you been a stickler for the rules? Besides this is Corellian Ale, we are talking about.” The man gave a half hearted shrug before backing down. She then looked back to the pretty Pantoran. “Ignore him, pilot. Surely we can come to some arrangement.”

Cora suppressed a smile, amazed at just how she managed to wound these two around her little finger. She reached into her uniform pocket, taking out two 500 credit chits. “How does 500 credits sound? You get this where it needs to go and I didn't see you and you didn't see me. Deal?” The two greedy technicians eyes full of avarice eagerly snatched the credit chits. “Works for me, pilot.” The brunette said, tucking the chit into her pocket. “Garrett. Get back to work. I will take this out of sight and log it as more ration biscuits. I can feel that smooth taste already.” As Garrett nodded walking away, Cora clapped her hands at the retreating woman's back. Pleasure doing business with you, hope you enjoy the ale…” she quipped, turning back towards the shuttle.

As soon as the crate came to a halt, Satine took a deep breath smiling despite the stress of her confinement at Cora's ingenuity. Peeking through the gaps in the crate, she could see the female technician standing with her back to it, busy typing something into her datapad. Stupid woman, her greed will prove to be her undoing. Time to relieve her of that uniform. The ISB agent gently released the catches, shielding her eyes from the sun that rushed into the gap. Flicking out her stun stick and setting it to the lowest setting, Satine crept up silently on the unsuspecting technician.

Claire chuckled as she falsified the inventory docket. One can't have too many ration biscuits after all. I wonder why the dock manager didn't clue us in on his little scheme, he always struck me as a straight arrow kind of guy. Suddenly, Claire felt a gloved hand clamp over her mouth muffling her cry of surprise and causing her to drop her datapad. “And you call yourself a servant of the Empire? You should be ashamed, my dear.” Hissed a local female accent into her ear. Then Claire felt a solid object press against the flesh of her neck, she screamed into her captors hand feeling a current of electricity pass through her nerves towards her central nervous system. Satine felt the woman buck and convulse in her grip before letting out a low muffled sigh slumping unconscious in her grip.

“So, skipper? Are we looking at a demotion or what?” The voice of Cora said through her earpiece. “Once I file my report she'll be lucky to find work on Tatooine.” Satine replied, lowering the woman's body onto the deck. “One demerit for accepting a bribe, another for not reporting contraband. And the last for losing her uniform.” Kneeling by the unconscious technician, Satine stripped out of her uniform.

After taking off Claire's hat and unlacing her boots, Satine unzipped the technician's jumpsuit, loosening it off at her shoulders and peeling it down her slim attractive body, before whipping the uniform off her legs. “And those credits are ISB funds, so I’ll be taking those back.” She smiled, stepping into the technician's uniform and zipping it up, glancing at the scantily clad Claire dressed only in her white lace trim camisole, matching panties and ankle socks, the nipples of her young breasts peeking through the fabric. She also adopted the brunette's braided ponytail, to better sell her disguise then slid on her hat.

Finding Claire's uniform a snug fit, Satine took the sleeping woman by her ankles dragging her over to the crate and sealing her inside, along with the discarded ISB uniform and dropped data pad. Secreting her stun stick and sedatives into the pockets of her stolen uniform, Satine slotted Iona the pip droid into the technician's before walking back around the corner.

Approaching the door to the base, flanked by two stormtroopers with the large dish looming over her head, Satine took the time to appreciate the view, smiling as she saw the glittering domes of Theed on the horizon. It's good to be home. “So far so good, skipper.” The voice of Cora in her ear interrupted her thoughts. “Once you're inside the base, you'll need to find the security centre and patch me into their data net, that will get me into their surveillance.” Satine nodded discreetly, putting her hand to her ear. “Understood, Ensign. I’ll also need to update this disguise, after all according to the file I’ll need a class 2 clearance to access the data core.” Putting her hand down, Satine took out Claire Trimmel’s access and flashed the two stormtroopers a smile.

“Another day in paradise, am I right troopers?” She said, swiping her stolen access card. The first trooper spoke up. “You've got that right, NS-577 and I were just saying we're glad they didn't post us to Jedha.” She replied with a smile evident in her voice. The second creaked his neck. “That sure is a hell of a view.” Satine shrugged as the door shot open. “Well just be glad you can take it all in trooper. I have to fix another faulty terminal in the security office.” The female trooper chuckled, a strange tinny sound under her helmet. “Again? That's the second time this week. You ask me, this place is falling apart. All the old clone wars junk we're still using.” The redhead smiled. “Tell me about it. Well I have to get back to it, have a good one, troopers.” Bading the stormtroopers farewell with a wave, Satine entered the base, the door closing behind her.

Naboo Communication Station Interior, 15:45pm

“Huh, those troopers didn't even challenge you. They just took you for granted, thanks to the uniform.” Said Cora as Satine proceeded through the brightly lit hallways towards the security office. “I’m surprised that the rebels haven't infiltrated this place yet, the security is light to say the least. I’ve only seen a few stormtroopers doing their rounds.” Cora breathed. “Forgive me, ma’am but the rebels might already be here. What with the security leaks and all.” Coming to the door to the security office, Satine took out her access card. “Well if there's a traitor, we'll smoke him out Ensign, Falére out.” She straightened herself as the door opened.

Security Office, 15:48pm

Lieutenant Kira Meitz let out a bored yawn, her eyes fixed on the ten monitors watching the comings and goings of imperial personnel, a task she had been doing alone since the morning. She was an attractive woman of 26, with aquiline features, shallow cheekbones and almond shaped bright blue eyes. Her long jet black hair tied into a knot underneath the olive green officers cap, that matched her tight fitting uniform belted at the waist with black jackboots and rank board pinned on her left breast. “Ugh! Stupid Clone Wars era piece of junk!” She snarled angrily bashing the faulty flickering screen with her fist. “Where's the damn technician when you need them!” As if to answer her, the door behind her opened.

Kira turned her seat around to see a pretty redheaded technician standing there, a PIP droid holstered on her left hip. “Technician Second Class Claire Trimmel, ma’am.” She said flashing a quick but efficient salute. “Here to fix a faulty terminal.” Kira let out a breath of relief, returning the salute. “Finally! And here I was beginning to think nobody in engineering gave a damn. By all means proceed.” with a warm smile the young technician closed the door behind her. “Technician. I haven't seen you here before. Are you a recent transfer?” The redhead slipped her hand into her pocket. “Yes, I came in from the Imperial Flight Academy on Corulag about a few days ago. If you like, lieutenant, I could go and get the transfer order from my quarters. It will only take a minute.” Kira shook her head, waving her off. “No need, technician. I’ve taken up enough of your time and these monitors won't fix themselves. Do what you have to do.” Kira swung her chair back around, giving the woman some space.

That was her second mistake. Suddenly Kira felt the hand of the technician grasp her mouth, muffling her cry of betrayal. “Shh, lieutenant. This will only take a minute.” The woman whispered into her ear as she felt a sharp prick in the side of her neck, just above the collar at the carotid artery. She whimpered in fear, shuddering at the peculiar sensation of the drug flowing through her bloodstream towards her brain. “You'll be unconscious in a matter of seconds, lieutenant. But you should know you were doing so well, until you waved me off and turned your back on an infiltrator. For all you know I could have been a rebel.” Kira could feel her consciousness slipping, her big blue eyes rolling back into her skull as she passed out in her chair with a low sigh.

Replacing the needle into her case, Satine looked over the sleeping lieutenant, glancing at her single code cylinder. “Well she is just my size and has level 2 clearance, her uniform will come in handy.” Turning to the security console, she inserted Iona into the droid interface socket. “Giving you full access to the base's data net and security system, Ensign.” Cora scoffed through Satine's ear. “Oh please! The encryptions are so weak and archaic even a child can slice it. Yep, I'm in and got eyes on everything.” Taking the little droid out, Satine began to strip out of her stolen technician’s uniform before straddling the unconscious lieutenant, and pulling off her hat followed by her boots before unclipping her belt.

Within a couple of minutes, Satine was fully dressed in the uniform of Lieutenant Kira Meitz, the woman herself slumped in her chair wearing only a low cut lace bra and matching panties. “Rank really does have its privileges.” She quipped scooping up the scantily clad officer under her shoulder dragging her over to the storage cupboard and stashing her inside. “Sweet dreams, lieutenant. And thanks for the uniform.” Closing the cupboard, Satine straightened out her uniform then swept from the security office, locking the place.

Data Core, 15:56pm

“This place could use more mouse droids, I mean how are the troopers supposed to respond to an alert. This whole place is an embarrassment.” Satine sighed as she strode towards the operations centre and the bases data core, passing troopers flashing her salutes as she went unchallenged thanks to her uniform. Keeping a mental note of everything she saw, the redhead arrived at the entrance, flanked by two stormtroopers who stood to attention as she approached them. “At ease, troopers.” She said, whipping out her code cylinder and twisting it to the left.

Striding into operations which overlooked a huge waterfall, Satine noted that all of the staff were busy at their control stations to notice her weaving her way towards the data core at the far end of the room. Using her stolen credentials she accessed the data core. “This was far too easy, Ensign. Now let's see who the traitor is, Iona…” she placed the little droid into the data socket and danced her fingers across the console.

“Well it looks like our mole tried to cover his tracks by deleting his access logs but he wasn't good enough to outfox me, I can trace the exact console he used to send the information to the Alliance. It will just take me a couple of minutes.” Satine could hear the smile in the woman's voice. “Good work, Ensign. It looks like the camera footage from the timestamps was also deleted, can you recover those as well?” Cora sighed. “One thing at a time, skipper. I’m a pilot not a miracle worker…” she ended the sentence with a low whistle that reverberated through Satine's ear, making her wince. “What is it, Ensign? Do you have the mole?” “Mhm, skipper. And the camera caught him red handed. Might I present base commander Colonel Bram Dietzen, our rebel spy, who used his own terminal, the bloody amateur.” The image of a thin reedy ginger haired man appeared on the monitor. Satine smiled as she downloaded the information onto an empty datapad. “Well done, Cora. Now let's pay the man a visit.” The Pantoran chuckled. “I'm sure he'll be quite surprised to have the ISB on his doorstep.”

Disconnecting her pip droid and datapad, Satine strode from the data core and through central operations before presenting herself to the stormtroopers flanking the door. “Trooper, I’m Captain Satine Falére from the Office of Internal Efficiency, ISB…” she flashed her credentials, the troopers glanced at each other in surprise. “...I have infiltrated your base to conduct a security audit and I have information for your base commander's eyes only. Take me to him, on the double.” Clicking their heels together, the two troopers quickly complied.

The Office of Colonel Bram Dietzen, 16:01pm

“If I’d known the ISB was performing an inspection, Captain Falére, then I would have organised a more appropriate welcome, you needn't have incapacitated two of my staff just to see me.” said Colonel Dietzen coolly, leaning over his desk, narrowing his eyes. Satine, flanked by two stormtroopers, shook her head. “Dispense with the pleasantries, Colonel we both you are running a very questionable operation here. Faulty equipment, corruption and incompetent staff who are all below the imperial standard for a Comms station this size…” The man leaned back in his chair, sneering. “Who the hell do you think you are, Captain?! You cannot speak to me with this level of insubordination! I will have you demoted right down to Stormtrooper!” Satine merely smiled as she rose to her feet, presenting her datapad.

“And that's not the best part, troopers…” she turned, showing the guards the footage of Dietzen accessing the data core. “... he's the mole, the one responsible for the intelligence leaks from this base to the Rebels.” The two troopers glanced at each other, raising their blasters. Satine then turned to face the colonel, who was sweating profusely and a bright side of puce. “With the authority vested in me by the ISB, I order you to arrest this rebel scum!” She commanded, brandishing an accusing finger at Dietzen’s chest.

“You sanctimonious little bootlicker!” The man snarled through gritting teeth, reaching for something under his desk. “Do you think you've won?! The Empire will fall sooner or later and the old republic will rise again-ugh!!” He cried drawing a hidden blaster from beneath his desk, but the stormtroopers flanking Satine were quicker, they shot two stun blasts directly into Dietzen's chest, sending the man careening over his chair and into an unconscious heap. “Take that you rebel scum.” The left hand stormtrooper, a woman, growled under her helmet. Nodding Satine turned to her. “Take me to your Executive Officer and get this… “she gestured to the unconscious fallen Colonel with her chin. “...traitor out of my sight.”

The Office of Executive Officer Major Lara Medford, 16:10pm

“Well this does come as a surprise to me, Captain. I knew the Colonel was unhappy being stationed here but I had no idea he was a rebel sympathiser.” Sighed Major Lara Medford, an attractive mousy haired woman in her mid thirties as she watched the datapad. “The rebels prey on weakness and disloyalty, Major. That's why we must remain on constant vigilance against their attempts to divide us.” Satine replied, taking a sip of water. The major switched off the pad and set it onto her desk. “Major? I suppose it's Colonel now.” She then took a deep breath regarding the red head with her stone grey eyes. “I don't necessarily approve of your methods, after all you did put two women in the med bay. But I can't argue with your results. We would have never known about Dietzen's treachery without you. Thank you, Captain.”

Satine smiled, returning the woman's salute. “Just doing my duty for the Empire… Colonel.” The brunette officer chuckled. “If only everyone in the Empire had your modesty.” She rose from her chair, holding out her hand which Satine shook. “You'll be getting a copy of my report Colonel, which will have my recommendations on improvements to your security procedures, and an invitation to a mandatory class on how to spot and combat rebel infiltrators taught by myself. Failure to attend will result in harsh disciplinary sanctions.” Medford nodded in understanding. “I look forward to your report, captain. I hope you have a safe trip back to Coruscant. For the Glory of the Empire!” Satine repeated the oath before she saluted the major for the final time and left her office.

The Communication Base Landing Pad, 16:25pm

As she slowly walked back towards her shuttle, Satine took a moment to glance at the Theed skyline, the sun's light dancing across the domes. “Well done skipper! Our first base inspected and a rebel spy apprehended, not bad for our first day at work.” Satine breathed in satisfaction. “I couldn't have done it without you, Ensign.” The Pantoran laughed. “Well, I aim to please, skipper. And forgive the insubordination but call me Cora, we are a team after all.” Satine nodded as she approached the ramp. “Alright, Cora. Can you do me a favour? Drop me off at the Theed spaceport and keep it off the books? I want to check on my parents, it's been too long since my last holo call.” Her pilot smiled. “ Not a problem, skipper. You deserve a little R & R.” Thanking the woman, Satine strode up the boarding ramp grinning, looking forward to what where in the galaxy her new job would take her.

Very interesting twist on the infiltrator idea. Doing it as a test!

It do like the two things she is given. The bothan stun stick and the sedative.

Love the scene of the stun stick used on Claire. Great imagery of her standing with her back to the crate as Satine slips out. And great description of the stun stick's effect on her. "Then Claire felt a solid object press against the flesh of her neck, she screamed into her captors hand feeling a current of electricity pass through her nerves towards her central nervous system. Satine felt the woman buck and convulse in her grip before letting out a low muffled sigh slumping unconscious in her grip."

Also love the very sexy description of Claire laying there in her panties and camisole with her nipples poking through. And then a wonderful ankle drag to take her off to be hidden away.

The Kira scene was great too. She was totally tricked by the uniform and then is nicely and deeply sedated. Again love the description "Suddenly Kira felt the hand of the technician grasp her mouth, muffling her cry of betrayal. For all you know I could have been a rebel.” Kira could feel her consciousness slipping, her big blue eyes rolling back into her skull as she passed out in her chair with a low sigh." Satine's comments are wonderful.

Then love the great comment the Colonel "you needn't have incapacitated two of my staff just to see me." So perfect!

A very interesting and different kind of story.

Thanks, my friend glad you liked the story!

When I was discussing the concept with a friend on discord, whose idea this is based on, we wanted to have a different take on the classic infiltrator trope but also include Imperial disguises. So we hit on the idea of Satine as the Imperial Base Inspector, whose job it is to make sure that Imperial installations are up to snuff in the event of a real infiltration by the Rebels.

The Bothan stun stick as been around in Star Wars lore for a while, it being the favoured weapon of rebel agents on covert missions. But here Satine is given her own Imperial issue stick with a few improvements on the classic design and you know how much I love my sedatives, so I just had to include them.

Out of the two scenes, I enjoyed writing Claire's the most because I when I read the takedown back I was pleased with how it turned out and the sexiness of the effect on Claire's CNS from her point of view. Naturally, she would have felt fear then the pain from the shock, along with the peculiar sensation of the electricity coursing through her body then off to sleepyland.

I'm glad you loved the image of Claire wearing only her cami and panties before being dragged off by her ankles, I loved that scene myself. I may have said this before but I'll say it again; I just find a camisole, with the nipples peaking up, and panties to be the most sexiest under garments ever on a USB victim, no matter the colour.

Now from reading my stories, you know how much I love the concept of an infiltrator using her disguise to acquire another. And the scene with Kira is no exception. I wanted Satine's comments to reflect that she is cool, confident and good at her job with a dry sardonic wit. But at the same time she genuinely cares about these women, since they are on the same side and what she's doing will invariably make their Imperial service easier. You could say she's doing this for their own good.

Indeed, like Cora said the Colonel was more than a little surprised to see an ISB agent on his doorstep, one that ultimately would arrest him for treason.

Thanks again for reading, I'm pleased you enjoyed the story. And rest assured, Satine is just getting started of her tour of Imperial bases with more surprises in store.

I do agree with you on the camisole. And they actually make sense in our uniform stealing universe. One reason to wear a camisole is that it is more comfortable. So you could imagine a guard on a long shift wanting the comfort especially if she was something like a B Cup and didn't need a lot of support. So in our world it would make sense for a woman to be wearing a camisole on her long guard shift.

And I agree they can be damn sexy. Particularly if it is one that the woman's midriff exposed! Love to see the infiltrator find that under the uniform.

Indeed, you picture say a receptionist or a nurse wearing something racy underneath their clothes, especially a receptionist who's there to give a positive first impression. After all nothing says positive like a pretty girl, enhancing her natural assets with a lace plunge or push up bra.

But like you say with a guard who's going to be standing around or patrolling for potentially a long shift then they need practicality and comfort over appearance. And a camisole does exactly that, it's the reason why in most of my stories with sentries or guards, I have them wearing a camisole to strike a balance between realism and sexiness. Plus, if the guard is a sexy little petite number with perfect B's or A cups then you really need don't need support, just maximum freedom of movement.

Me too my friend! There is something sexy about seeing a USB victims midriff exposed, whether it's a slim but trim tummy or perhaps a little toned and athletic with subtle abs. And especially if the underwear is black on white skin, so hot!

My favorite character for a story! The pretty little guard on a long shift. Just an ordinary young woman doing her job. She is ready for just another quiet, boring night. Little does she know a skilled infiltrator has already entered the complex she is guarding and has plans for her.

I couldn't agree with you more! The sweet pretty young brunette perhaps a student who's temping as a guard for the extra money for her tuition. Let's call her Libby. Libby probably thought being a guard would be exciting and dangerous, that the uniform she would be getting would be a draw to boys or maybe even other girls, Libby isn't really picky.

However, on her third night the reality wasn't living up tobthe fantasy in her head. She craved for excitement and action, while sitting in her guard booth playing on her phone. Unaware that tonight was going to be one of those nights, soon proving that she should be careful what she wished for.

Hearing a crunch of gravel in front of her, Libby looked up to see an attractive redhead dressed in black smiling at her. "Um, this is private property. Please state your business or turn around and leave." Libby said in her best authorative voice, laced with tiredness. The red head cocked her head. "Well you are my business, sugar. I will be needing your clothes." Then before Libby could react, the redhead's shot up holding a small can of aerosol and sprayed it into her face. Letting out a cute squeak of surprise, Libby collapsed almost instantly back into her chair, slumping unconscious with a gasp of breath.

Scarlet grinned hopping over the booth and straddling the unconscious Libby, she activated her earpiece. "Scarlet here, I've neutralised the guard and now I'am stripping her down. I should be just a minute." She then turned her attention to Libby. "Well aren't you a sweet little thing...Libby. Cute as a button and just my size." She said reading the girls name tag and caressing her cheek. "Time to unwrap my present..."

Within a few moments, Scarlet had stripped Libby of her black polo shirt, matching combat trousers, laced boots and baseball cap and was finishing dressing in Libby's uniform. "Well aren't you just a little girly girl at heart, sugar." Scarlet quipped as age clipped on Libby's equipment belt, getting a good look at the girl wearing only a pastel pink lace trim cropped camisole with stripy multicoloured panties, the nipples of her small B-cups peaking through.

Straddling the scantily clad cutie, Scarlet kissed the girl on her slack lips and fondled her sweet young breasts eliticing a moan of arousal from the sleeping guard. "Scarlet? Are you there? Quit fondling the guard like the last time and let us in!" Came the voice of her boss, Carter the brains of this particular heist. "Sorry, boss you know how much I like the hot little brunettes." She replied sheepishly, pulling the limp body of Libby off of her chair and stashing her underneath the desk.

Taking Libby's seat, she buzzed the rest of the gang through the gates and began her lookout for the cops. "Don't worry, cutie..." she said to the unconscious Libby, placing her feet on the girls soft warm peach shaped ass, covered by her panties. "...it's going to be a long night and I'am sure we can get to know each other a little better. Or maybe I might steal you for myself. I get the feeling you would like that, sweet thing."

I love the premise of "Uniform Stealing Drills" / "Unnanounced Inspections". Given how many times uniforms get stolen in the Star Wars Universe, this indeed seems like something they're sorely lacking!

Not the biggest connoisseur of Star Wars out there, but I think I spotted a reference to the Expanded Universe - Satine being surprised to see a non-human wearing imperial uniform - a reference to how racist and human-centric the Empire is? (Well, I recall it was the case in the old Legends Expanded Universe - I remember in Zahn's old Thrawn Trilogy it was the reason why people had a hard time believing Thrawn even existed, because the Empire was so racist people couldn't believe a non-human could be promoted Grand Admiral. Can't speak for the new canon though.)

Not that I'm complaining. Pantorans are my favorite alien girls in Star Wars. Love the combo of blue skin and light lavender hair. I still remember when I watched Clone Wars, and thought Riyo Chuchi was a cutie.

Interesting to see the story from the point of view of the Empire - gives a different perception of Uniform thefts, since they're usually the ones who are the victims of it.

Hi Rufus

I'm glad you liked the concept, the Empire is often the victim of many an uniform stealing rebel infiltrator so they definitely need these sudden snap inspections from Satine and the ISB. Even though it won't win them many friends. And I couldn't agree with you more, as a dedicated servant of the Empire I thought this lack of USB drills needed to be addressed.

Good eye, the inclusion of Cora was a reference to the early expanded universe with how the Empire was more human-centric and racist they were and how much they've changed since then. Naturally with the new Expanded Universe, non humans like Grand Admiral Thrawn and Cora have a better time since the Empire relaxed it's restrictions to include non human's like Pantorans and Chiss, although they still face distrust and suspicion. In fact Thrawn was the best flag officer in the Imperial Navy and the only non human to hold the rank of Grand Admiral. And Pantorans while a rare sight in the Imperial Navy, made some of the best TIE fighter pilots, with quicker then average reflexes and intuition compared to human pilots. With Cora being one the lucky ones to be given her ace status and a dream secondment to the ISB.

Satine herself is not your average Imperial. She's isn't a racist and doesn't seek fame or influence like so many of her fellow Imperials, but instead is a true believer in the Imperial cause. She sees the rebels as cruel terrorists, who want nothing but chaos. If her work prevents the Rebels from infiltrating Imperial bases then all the better. Plus, she's a reference to the Clone Wars Series; her name was inspired by Duchess Satine Kryze, the ill fated ruler of Mandalore, Obi-Wan's love interest and older sister to a certain Bo Katan Kryze who has also featured in one of my stories.

I have to agree, Pantoran girls then Twi'leks are some of my favourite alien waifus in the series, not only did you have the lavender hair, but also silver and platinum blonde like Cora. Such beauty! Aww, I remember Senator Riyo Chuchi! She really is a cutie and her soft melodious voice just melted me. Behind Ahsoka, I wanted to marry her.

Given how corrupt, power-hungry, and violent most of the Empire's leadership is, the best way to give it more nuance is indeed to explore the mindset and adventures of the people who genuinely believed in its ideal of Order. This series strikes me as rather light-hearted in its themes (key word being rather, of course, the prologue is quite brutal) and apparently will focus on those "drills", so hopefully Satine won't be in for a brutal awakening. Like being sent to "pacify" civilians. Or do some ethnic cleansing. Of planet-wide extermination via Death Star. (Gosh, Star Wars is so dark when you think about it more than two seconds...)

Noticed she shared a name with Duchess Satine, but since the two characters were a lot different lore-wise and personality-wise, I thought it was a coincidence.

Personally, Satine brought to my mind Natasi Daala, from the old Expanded Universe - a woman fiercely loyal to the Empire instead of her own ambitions. Still remember that scene in Darksaber in which she kills all the petty Imperial warlords and take control of the Imperial Remnants because she can't trust them to forget about their ambitions and actually work together.

"Enough! I didn't want to rule. I had no intention of becoming a political leader. I wanted to crush the Rebels instead—but you give me no choice. I cannot leave the Empire in the hands of fools like you."

Though Satine strikes as miles more level-headed and capable than Daala ever was...
