Suspicious Newbies

Hi Everyone

Recently, I have seen our membership numbers have spiked over the last month. And while usually this should be a cause for celebration. It has me concerned.

I have noticed these "newbies" try to post topics on both General or the new Off Topic forum and recall what esercito said about bots or people getting onto the forum solely to post links to porn sites. Fortunately, these individuals (or programs) are blocked from doing so. But its become an all too common site on the forum.


So I will pose this question; Should we be suspending recruitment and focus on keeping our numbers level? So we can prevent further intrusion now and in the future.
