Bilbrew - "The Unfortunate Countess" (1954)

Post by tirepanted3 »

There are four or five clothes-stealing scenes in this story. Doppelgangers, stealing identities, tying a girl up with strips of her own uniform, etc. One woman, named Gina, actually gets her clothes stolen on two separate occasions (page 3 and 6).

ah, the '50s ...

Tirepanted, my friend, this find of yours strengthens my convinction that Young Women ( in the fifties, and now) can endure any suffering and indignities , if they are stripped by other women , being deprived of their clothes thus having their modesty compromised ...tied up, chained, enslaved, ballgagged, etc. and more, and more...eventually remaining active and self-controlled

they can renounce almost everything

except one and only one thing :o

...their heels
