The evening was supposed to be quiet. Draped in silk, lounging on her comfortable sofa, she thought the argument was over, the tension receding. She was wrong. In a swift, shocking betrayal of trust, the argument escalated into an assault. Before she could properly react, a damp cloth was pressed firmly over her mouth and nose, the cloying, chemical sweetness of chloroform stealing her breath and then her consciousness.
She drifts back into a world of muffled sounds and crushing helplessness. Her drowsy mind registers the cold, sticky pull of heavy-duty tape circling her wrists, cinching them tightly behind her back. Her ankles are bound next, pulled cruelly upward in a tight hogtie that arches her back on the very sofa where she had been relaxing moments before. The final humiliation comes as a pair of her own stockings are pulled from the cushions, stuffed into her mouth to form a thick, suffocating gag, and then wrapped around her head, held in place by a final, silver strip of tape. Bound, gagged, and displayed on her own furniture, she is no longer the mistress of her home, but merely a helpless ornament for her captor's viewing pleasure.
