How about a chikehold using the sentries own weapon or an officers truncheon? I find those quite satisfying but so few examples in mainstream.

Heck, while we're at other ideas, how about this? A Jedi uses a force choke. Does it right up to the point the sentry loses consciousness but doesn't kill her.Stormtrooper1990 wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 7:06 pm How about a chikehold using the sentries own weapon or an officers truncheon? A good one! That does sound sexy, although it being a dark side power the Jedi/Sith would have to show restraint and not give into temptation killing the poor girl. But it could be done similar to other non lethal methods.meditions142 wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 7:17 pmHeck, while we're at other ideas, how about this? A Jedi uses a force choke. I vaguely remember that KO style being used in old school TV shows, e.g. The Man From Uncle, but I can't think of any specific examples of the top of my head since I haven't seen those shows in years.Void99 wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 2:47 pmCan you name any movie or TV shows where a blow to the neck is used as a KO method?meditions142 wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 1:19 pmI have seen the idea that the chop can be fatal. Hang on....a neck chop is more a fatal blow isn't it? Hard blow to the neck suggest lethal intent.

Here are a few examples:

Also, if you are a member of the Dextorskos site there are a lot more. However, you can only search them if you a member and it is closed to new members
It certainly is possible in real life the chop would be fatal. However, it does seem at least in fiction the technique is used to knock people out.
The second and third one I am unsure of though.
Second one you can not actually see where the blow lands. Third one seems like a lower head blow given how she suddenly moves her head, but the angle is hard to tell.
I suspect that these clips may be due to broadcaster regulations, depending on the type of show and what time of day it's broadcasted. Like they have to tone down the violence, a direct blow to the head may be too much!
I remember an old British show, Robin of Sherwood in the 80s. Had quite a lot of death by swords and arrows. But they could only show a fatal sword strike as a side slash and NOT a forward thrust/stabbing motion. And all hits had to be in the chest area or the back. Same with arrows. No head shots allowed!

Chokehold is an interesting one.
TV show, 24. Jack Bauer was infamous for it, mostly because almost all his victims are his friends/allies!

0:42 Renee Walker who becomes his lover.
0:59 Chloe O'Brien his closest ally throughout most the entire series.
I always joked you can never truly become a friend of Jack until you get the chokehold treatment!

Yeah Dexter was awesome, especially the first 4 seasons. Lots of great potential for uniform stealing, none of them realised though!Stormtrooper1990 wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 3:03 pmWow Dexter! My mum absolutely loves him, but sorry Void my mind is drawing an absolute blank too. I have seen a scene on Night Agent ( another favourite of mine and meditions) where a stun gun was used on a woman's neck, causing a knock out.Void99 wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 2:47 pmmeditions142 wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 1:19 pm

I seen what Stormtrooper said about a blow to the windpipe to stun them followed by a KO blow...but that's to the head.
Can't think of any scenarios where a single blow to the neck was used to render the victim unconscious. Unless it's a dart or something shot in the neck, or a needle like Dexter favoured!
There's plenty of scenarios in my stories but for mainstream, I can't recall any.

Totally agree, I really had a crush on Deb and her colourful dialogue. Yeah, I always liked the Miami PD uniforms myself not to mention that crazy British girl who had a odd crush on Dexter. I would have liked to see her as a USB villian.

You talking about Lila from season 2? Yeah she was an awesome character. Jaime Murray was also in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, played a widow who had threesomes with Batiatus and his wife, Lucretia. Both her characters met unfortunate ends though...but you could say Lila had it coming!Stormtrooper1990 wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 11:45 pmVoid99 wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 11:21 pmYeah Dexter was awesome, especially the first 4 seasons. Too bad Deb only wore her uniform in the first season before being promoted!

Yeah, I remember Jaime Murray from Blood & Sand too! Damn she's hot and those threesomes were something else, plus I remember her steamy scene with Lucretia. In Blood and Sand, I felt bad for her and felt she didn't deserve her death. But has Lila, she was just crazy, crazy, crazy and had it coming with all the shit she put Dex and his wife through.
Definitely, Deb was such a hottie in her uniform filling it out in all the right places. Always imagined her getting it stolen!
