Where's the "mind your own business" smiley when you need it.

Oh that's right, your not moderating right now.

Do yourself a favour and take Muskra's advice. I know I will. And if you want to complain about me then let's do it in private and off the public channels. The board has had enough of our shit.

Let's just focus on the uniform stealing and leave our personal baggage at the door. Please.

With all due respect Muskra, you presume too much for someone who's been here for five minutes. I have been here for a lot longer then you and contributed a lot more. I have already agreed to Rufus' charter. How about you?

So if don't have anything to say useful about the topic in question and took this opportunity just to take a sly jab at me then shame on you. I would rather you messaged me privately then take a cheap shot behind my back in public. As the saying goes; treat others how you would like to be treated yourself. We are all USBs here.

And perhaps you should also take your own advice.

Thank you.
Just to add context to explain ES' facepalm comment, because I think it went over your head like a Jet2 flight from East Mids.

I actually set up the first "Steal Her Uniform" group on Yahoo Groups in 1999, which was the first ever USB group on the internet, and then owned and ran that board for quite some time. Then I was writing stories out there on the internet on Yahoo Groups up until about 2012, when I became heavily active on the old Runboard USB up until it sadly closed down, as well as on Deviant Art, writing stories there from 2013 and creating quite a large and extensive catalogue of work up until 2020 when my page bit the dust. ES and all the other old Runboard group have known me since 2012. I've been here on this board since it opened, but never posted. I actually saw all of the drama stretching back to when it first began before this summer, and sat there with my popcorn watching all the tricks, gaslighting and cleverly-worded, evasive apologies as they played out. I have a background in psychology and mental health amongst other things, so I spotted all of the familiar red warning flags at play.

If you want to get really technical, in 2015, I also wrote the script, and sourced all of the clothing and uniforms for, the Damsels in Peril clip "Cops & Robbers" as well as writing the scripts for two other DiP clips, one of which was another top seller. "Cops & Robbers" went on to become the biggest grossing USB clip that DiP has ever made, outselling the rest of their top ten USB clips all put together.

Not bad for someone who has been in the USB community for 5 minutes, or even 25 years, and hasn't contributed anything.

This new account is just me resurrecting my old Runboard username to start writing again under a recognisable brand name, for the older members to relate to.

When it comes to contributing, one well-written quality story is better than ten poorly written ones. Strive to be "Waitrose" not "Lidl". I have a full time job, a family and a real world life, so I can't spend all day and night here.

With regards to Rufus' charter, I'd probably need that if I'd ever done something to usurp and bury the writers on this board for months on end, causing a massive backlash from some very established people here. If I ever stoop down to that level, I'll PM you for some experienced advice on how to sign up to that charter.

(I won't chicken out and delete that PM though, because a deleted PM still shows in your inbox, FYI ;) )

That's my last word on the subject. Thank you, and much respect to you for everything that you've achieved in your 21 months here.

Well that was a complete load of condescending twaddle if I ever heard it. None of what you just described or did matters to me in the slightest because thats all in the past. What's important is the now.

And FYI, to use your analogy more people shop at Lidl then at Waitrose because the latter is for pretentious middle class snobs and and the former offers quality at value for money, all with plenry of variety. Maybe you should read a few of my stories, if you weren't so quick to judge me before.

So once again you show your maturity by deciding to insult myself and my stories with veiled insults instead of either simply ignoring my post or telling me all this in a PM, dragging all this through the mud when the board needs to heal. I don't know about you Mr mental health expert but you need to take a look at yourself in the mirror.

And by the way, rufus pretty much said that this charter is going to be mandatory and those that don't abide by it are banned with no second chances. It doesn't marrer if you have 25 years of contributions or 21 months of contributions, you're out. I won't take you up on that offer, of advice. I do not need the advice of someone who is quite full of himself.

You don't know me and have no right to judge me. None of what happened in the past matters now but you obviously seek to reopen old wounds when they don't need reopening.

( I deleted that PM because the issue in question as been resolved, so the message was superfluous. I didn't chicken out. )

I aim to be around this board and write even more stories for a long time to come. We'll see who sticks around the longest.

And by the way, I'am Nottingham born and bred. Just so you know. From your condescending tone your either from Derby or Leicester if you know EMA so well.

lets all take a deep breath .......the thing is about authors /writers they all have egos.....so naturally on a forum like this there will be clashes and sides will be taken ...i think admin needs to take a more hands on approach just for the short term ,,,,as for waitrose and lidl they both have their qualities lol and as my old man used to say self praise is no recommendation lol

You're right, Simon. He's not worth the effort of getting stressed out over. I know exactly what Muskra is and that's a bully with a large ego, who always thinks he's right. A toxic personality like that no matter how long he's been around is not healthy for the board.

I for one have moved on from the summer, my only purpose is to continue contributing no matter what some people say. I'am not here for my ego but just to make people happy with my stories. Like my friend hshws with my story Ghost Hunter , who I had the pleasure to research and work with. So when Muskra insults my stories in his ignorance, he's not just insulting me but the people like hswhs, Arc and Meditions as well and that's something I cannot abide.

I agree that admin may need to step in the short term to keep us writers honest and from getting in each others way because of our egos.
