Hi Void

Yeah, whenever I write a story I write it in piecemeal save it in drafts then post it when it's finished. This time, I got over half way through my story and when I went to save the draft...up comes the white screen of death and I lose my work. My only option is to post what I have already saved and finish off the story using the reply function. It's a pain in the arse and maddening, it really is, hours and days of work at risk...

An idea is before you try and save, copy all the text and paste, then post it on a video comment section, they try and save on this forum. If it goes wrong, then you can copy the text off the video comment and try again until it works. Then delete the YouTube comment.

Yeah, I have a YouTube account. That's sounds like an interesting idea, I never would have thought of that but don't comment sections have a word limit? Either way I appreciate the help, I might just try it out, thanks for the tip Void.

Nah you can post massive lengthy comments on Youtube. There was a character limit MANY years ago in the early days. But now you can have unlimited characters. What happens is that a long comment will only show up the first 4 lines with a "Read more" prompt right underneath...click that and it will open up the rest of the comment.

I often do this with lengthy messages I write just for spell checking. Since a lot of misspelled words will have a red wavy line underneath....it's a good method for spell checking, paste the text but don't actually post the comment and review it all.

That does sound really handy and I have seen my fair share of lengthy comments on YouTube, come to think of it.


That does sound like a really useful tool. I have a problem in my stories with the AC missing words out, putting new words in and generally being a nuisance. Anything to make things easier is a plus. I appreciate the tip.

like anticipated at the Discord, after hours of investigations I realized that the "Internal Server Error " is something affecting the board at a worrying and serious extent

unfortunately, because of this issue, currently I can't anymore perform some activities that are part of my duties of moderator

thus, I apologize to Sakanre for not being able to create a new sub- forum for his art

I just moved to the proper section the topic he started at the "pictures" forum.
I am sorry , I can't do more
