Aliquippa woman robbed, forced to strip at gunpoint

Two Aliquippa women forced another woman to strip to her underwear as they robbed her, police said.

Marissa Humphries, 22, and Jasmire Owens, 21, both of Aliquippa, are charged with burglary, robbery and aggravated assault. Owens also is charged with illegal firearm possession.

According to police:

The alleged victim said Humphries and Owens first approached her at The Mall at Robinson on Feb. 7. When the woman returned to her home in Aliquippa, Humphries and Owens made their way inside and assaulted and robbed the woman.

Owens threatened her with a gun, while Humphries brandished a kitchen knife and demanded money. The two took $280 before leaving the home.

Humphries and Owens remain free on unsecured bond following their May 4 arrests. A preliminary hearing for both is scheduled June 9.
