I think ES is correct. When the PM inboxes are full they won't accept any new PMs.
This has happened to me a few time.

Hi Darth

That's not what I meant exactly, sometimes when I press any button on the PM screen I get a "Server cannot process the request." screen. Its happened to me a couple of times when I'am writing stories too. And i'am not the only one.

I have posted a couple of threads on General about this issue and apparently I was told by ES its a common fault on runboard software but no one knows what causes the issue. Its disconcerting to say the least.

No it's quite alright. It's my bad I should have explained it a little better. Suffice it to say, the whole issue is a real ball ache.

No, because this doesn't just affect the PMs but also when writing drafts during postings. I had to spend all of last night using the reply system to make sure my newest story was published. Twice yesterday i had screens of death show up. It is getting to be more than an annoyance. I really hope the matter can be looked into.

Out of curiosity, have any other of the boards writers faced similar issues?

No, not really as bad
I usually just add as replies anyway.......but with the PMs.....either no one is replying or they are not sending

Hi Jaeger

Sorry to hear the PMs are giving you bother.

That's really curious because I don't have any issue with sending or replying when it comes to PMs myself. Just this white screen that rears its head once in a blue moon. Admittedly, its more common with PMs then with postings.

Either way, these are serious issues that must be addressed. Hopefully, there's someone on the board who can tell us what on earth is happening and patch it up.

After all, Tirepanted isn't the only writer on writers corner. Just curious.
I'm relatively new to this forum (this is my first post, yay!) and I enjoy focusing on one author at a time (for now I'm still reading Tirepanted's works), but I promise that I'll explore your work someday. I think Rufus used to have a DeviantArt account as his name sound's familiar, but that's about the extent of my explorations of USB so far.

It sounds like ScruffyTheBandit isn't even a specific fan of the USB genre (though he enjoys the bondage/DID aspects of it), but is invested in the stories regardless. I try to make my stories fun and interesting even to readers who don't have a particular fondness for uniform stealing, and it's nice to see that recognized.

Big thank you to Scruffy for the kind write-up, and to Esercito for promoting my work with his fun illustrations on DA. :)
You are correct that I am mainly a fan of bondage/DiD, but I have a wide variety of interests including USB though it's been a recent discovery. I'm certainly invested in your stories regardless!

You're so welcome! Big thank you in return for sharing your stories in the first place with the world.
