Excerpt from "It's the Great Pumpkin King Again Alex" by ED3765

"Given what has happened, I much rather be in a safe room right now..." Penny remarked as she and the others followed Alex to the party.

"I know, why isn't Alex a basket case right now?" Natalie questioned.

"I don't know, I'm not a psychiatrist," Mina remarked as Hana remained on guard. Despite their desire to not be out, they all accompanied Alex now dressed for the occasion.

Hana wore an outfit similar to what she normally wore, except one side was white while the other was black, which she wore a face mask over her face that had the same color scheme as a means of showing a split good and bad personality.

Natalie had thrown on some green makeup and face coverings to make herself look like a zombie cheerleader, which she wore a black and green cheerleader outfit with slouching torn black socks to make it look scarier. Mina wore a type of magical outfit that was pink, gold and white in color based on a school uniform to make her appear magical. Penny was clad head to toe in a red ninja outfit with pink socks on to make her feel like a cheerful assassin.

"Hhmm hmmm hmmm!" Alex hummed which once at the party she began to interact with the kids, all of them running about in their own outfits made it a cheerful event. "Yes, nothing will go wrong tonight!" Alex deeply believed, knowing that so many people around her couldn’t possibly bring any spirits or beasties after her. While Alex and company had fun, outside of the building they were in were two demon dressed people spying on them.

The two people were dressed in a type of Japanese ogre like outfits wearing a mask with an evil face on it with long noses extending out from the mask. The blue one parted her mask to reveal Zena while the red one parted her mask to reveal a smirking Shirley.

"Well well, look at Alex in there, having fun!" Shirley said as Zena glanced around nervously as they stood about in the pumpkin patch.

"Why not leave her alone tonight? Besides, things creep me out on Halloween night," Zena remarked as Shirley rolled her eyes as Zena had remembered last year while Shirley played it off as some nightmare.

"After all the trouble we went through in spoiling their plans?" Shirley remarked as she had Zena infiltrate a pharmacy that Natalie was getting sleeping pills from. After Zena tied up and stole the uniform of an unsuspecting pharmacist, she had simply given Natalie some sugar pills. "Oh no, we are going to ruin their night tonight!" Shirley stated.

"How again?" Zena asked.

"With this!" Shirley said holding up a stink bomb. "It will drive everyone away and we'll snatch Alex in the chaos! We'll lock her in a chest or burry her or something and keep setting these off till she forever loses her sense of smell!" Shirley said chuckling evilly.

"Hrmm, about that, think this might help?" Zena said soon handing Shirley a green vial of liquid.

"What is it?" Shirley questioned while taking the vial and looked it over.

"Not sure, the pharmacist I knocked out was in the process of locking it up, has to be something nasty," Zena remarked as Shirley shrugged her shoulders and tossed the vial away.

"My plan is perfect as is, forget it and let’s focus!" Shirley said as she and Zena put their masks back on and crept their way to the party, while behind them the vial Shirley had tossed landed on a rather large pumpkin. The green liquid began to glow brightly as a spirit like ghoul came crying out from it and soon plunged itself into the pumpkin that began to pulse and move its vines.

"Mrhprpm! Hrhrpm! Mrphrpm!" the dark raven haired tied-up pharmacist cried out through her brown tape gag while struggling in the similar tape bonds, after being chloroformed by a sneaky Zena, she had woken up a few short hours ago and struggled wildly into her tape bonds till finally they snapped. "Gaaah!" she cried out soon peeling the tape from her pink underwear clad body, the sticky adhesive coming off rather painfully from her body.

"That damn thief! Can't believe she got the drop of me and… just witching great!" the female remarked glancing out a nearby window to see the sun rising. "My plans have been spoiled!" she remarked angrily before an eerie whale reached her ears, she turned to see her beloved ghoul spirit returning. "Oh! You got free!" she said grabbing a free vial and quickly returned the spirit to its rest.

"This is twice now you got out free!" she said with a heavy sigh as she soon excused herself to a hidden room in the pharmacy, the room full of witch like items from potion books, more vials, a large cauldron in the middle of the room among other things. "Well next year, I will have my fun and that is a promise," she said with a wide smirk while dawning a witch hat which her promise would be Alex and company's torment next year.
