Indeed, there were a couple of unfortunate female guards guarding an equipment room. Kremm lured one away with a little clicker, and pulled her around the corner into a broom cupboard. After that one was given the Nerve Pinch, her friend got a little jumpy and panicked then soon followed their friend, in more ways then one. Kremm then destroyed the aircon unit followed by a transformer, which drew Ellana's guards away powered down her cell and the escape was on.

The two guards were found slumped shoulder to shoulder sleeping in the broom cupboard. And were later neuralysed then reassigned to separate watches.
What a perfect scene! Kremm tricks the first woman with the old "strange noise" trick and lures her into his trap. Then the second woman gets concerned her colleague has not returned, but, instead of calling for backup, she also walks right into Kremm's clutches.

Perfect "dumb guard" scenes. Both woman pay for their cluelessness by suddenly feeling a sharp pain in their necks followed by a trip to slumberland

I'am glad you it liked it. Like we touched on before, where would USB be without those adorable but poorly trained girl guards who wind up either unconscious or at the very worst(for them, not for us ;) ) naked minus their uniforms. Of course these girls were lucky, they kept their clothes but further down the line their will be MiB girl guards who won't be as fortunate. ;)

I think those are among my favourite kind of USB scene. Where we see an oblivious guard, nurse or any woman going about her business then gets taken out and stripped by an infiltrator who is way more skilled and cunning than they are. The "dumb guard" is classic USB at its best. :D

You describe it so perfectly. That is my favorite kind of scene. There is something about the idea of the woman being so oblivious to what is about to happen to her. Even if she is a guard she probably thinks nothing will ever happen. All the while a more skilled and cunning intruder is sizing her up and getting ready to strike.

You have mentioned of course the amazing scene from Conan with the cultist. Perfect scene. Pretty girl, not being alert and not having any idea what is about to happen to her until it does.

I have mentioned it before but one of my favorite scenes ever was Najica Episode 5 (would have even been better if it was live action). I love how the guard is standing at her post guarding the door into the ship. I am sure she doesn't expect anything to happen. She is seemingly alert but really not on guard as much as she should be. While she sees Najica at the last second all she can do is gasp in shock before she is hit with Najica's stun bullet. She ends up knocked out and has given Najica not only access into the ship but also a uniform to use.

Tgank you my friend. The guard may be inexperienced or bored, or otherwise had a very long day. She's not paying attention, then we see the skilled sexy intruder creep up behind her. She takes a yawn, then the infiltrator clamps her hand around her mouth. She's dragged into the shadows, she is either killed or just knocked out. Then the infiltrator walks out in her uniform. Then it cuts to the naked guard. That is my perfect sign.

It is a wonderful scene! And the one that got me hooked on USB from a young age. The whole set-up is just perfect. We don't know what happened to the girl, whether Valeria took the lethal approach or not( for me given the context of the movie, and nature of the infiltration it didn't end well for her. And Doom did say something about murdering his servants later in the movie. But that's open to interpretation.) Its leaves a lot to the imagination. Which is what I love about the scene. We do get some idea what the cultist looked like without her robes on, when we see the sacrifice girl getting stripped.

I love that scene as well. And I wish it was live action too. But the setup is perfect. We see the guard, young pretty looking cute in her uniform. She looks professional enough but she when she sees Najica the inexperience comes through. Instead of calling for backup, she gasps in shock and is easy prey for our heroine. She's on the deck and is soon relieved of her uniform and underwear by our heroine, who calmly salutes a passing guard like nothing as happened, wearing the girls uniform and everything else. I always imagined Najica dragging her into that room she's guarded, stripping her and dumping her naked form in a cosy crate.

Another favourite scene was in that really crappy film The Lucifer Complex, with Robert Vaughan. We see Vaughan and his girl fleeing from a nazi lab, she needs some new clothes. Luckily there's a passing nurse in her size, who's completely obvious to the danger. She walks past, the hero handgags her and drags her away. (Whether or not she is killed is again up to interpretation) Then they walk out, the girl who puts her uniform and presumably everything else she had on her to use.

All great scenes and perfect examples of the "dumb, pretty oblivious guard" scenario. There are of course many others. ;)

Indeed, the perfect scene. Love the idea of her being bored or tired. I also enjoy when we get a glimpse into her thoughts. Maybe due to her boredom she is letting her thoughts wander, maybe thinking about what she has planned after her shift, or clothes to buy. Maybe she is even having a little sexual fantasy. You know, the kind of thoughts that might go through any regular, ordinary woman's mind when she is bored.

Maybe she is even having that cliche guard thought "It's so boring. I wish something would happen to break the monotony. Never something a guard should think. We all know what happens next when a guard thinks that!

The one thing I always wonder about is how Najica's stun bullets work. I have gotten different kinds of answers but never a sure answer. I don't know if they are just supposed to be plastic type bullets that basically use force to knock the women out. Or are they maybe something that contains some type of energy that is released when they strike the woman and release a charge that short circuits her CNS and knocks her out.

They seem to have some kind of force to them as when the sentry on the ship is hit her shirt is lifted up. Also, there must be some degree of pain as the woman lets out a cry when she is hit. Whatever it does, it works fast. As we see by the time the shock wave clears it appears the woman is already unconscious.

Definitely always liked that scene. It is so perfect. The nurse is pretty and I love how she is so engrossed in looking at the chart she is carrying that she never sees the danger until she's grabbed. And love how quickly he overpowers her and drags her off.

Indeed we don't know what they ultimately do to her but since they are the good guys I assume they just knock her out even thought she works for the evil guys.

Another scene that is kind of similar is the scene from the Jolly Joker which has been posted here. The good guy grabs a female sentry very similar to how the nurse was grabbed and pulls her behind a large rock. While we don't see what he does we see her knocked out and down to her bra and panties so the woman with the guy can use her uniform. Perfect dumb guard scene as she walks right past a very obvious hiding spot.

The two of my favourite examples of what a guard my be thinking is either she's having a sexual fantasy about a fellow guard or a variation of that where two girl guards are making out then get taken out and stripped, like what happened to those two guards in The Ballad of Siobahn and Annabeth and of course the same thing happened to them to. They were so engrossed in each other, that they didn't see Vesper and Nightingale until it was far too late.

I love it when we have that cliché guard who wants something exciting to happen, but she soon learns to be careful what she wishes for. She soon winds up either naked or in her underwear for her trouble.

When I was watching that Najica seen back, I always assumed that it was some type of directed sonic discharge that was caused when the woman was hit. The fact that the girl's shirt was lifted up means a physical impact, which explains the little groan she gives off when shes it. The bullet must then emit the sonic discharge which travels up the woman's nervous system, to her CNS. It shuts it down and the poor guard is unconscious before she hits the deck. I think it all happens in a split second and whatever it was didn't damage the guards clothes so Najica could make use of them.

That dragging scene was always the best. The sight of the nurses legs still twitching as she is dragged away is very titillating. Those are the best type of scenes, the ambushes which feature a lot in Ellana's stories.

I had watched that scene back the other day and I heard a brief "popping" sound when the nurse was pulled around the corner, which i intrepretated as a neck break. My own assumption was since time was of the essence, the good guys didn't have time to tie her up so they had to eliminate her because A. Speed, they were escaping and had to get out of their quickly. Plus the girl needed some new clothes. B. To stop her raising the alarm and alerting the guards. So essentially she was collateral damage. That's just my interpretation, since I don't mind the good guys being a little grey. But a great seen nevertheless.

I think I can recall that scene, although I might have a look to refresh my memory. Again it's another variation of the "dumb guard." Walking past an obvious hiding spot. It's a tactic that Ellana utilises to great effect in her stories.

I absolutely agree my friend. The dumb, pretty oblivious guard is a staple of USB and one of the reasons we love it so much!

Don't remember where, but I recall seeing somewhere that Najica's guns contain plastic bullets. Which makes sense - she's not a killer by nature, but she's often operating in stealth mode, and sometimes needs to knock people unconscious from afar, so she fires bullets that are just strong enough to take villains out by force of impact.

As for the "dumb guard" trope, there are a lot of good examples. I think my favorite is the scene from Qubool Hai, with the airport security guard ambushed in the restroom. The woman she's chasing hides off to one side of the restroom, and the guard is so busy checking the stalls that she doesn't see the woman sneaking up behind her until she's handgagged and injected with a knockout drug. Classic scene.

Indeed I had heard the plastic bullet theory too but was never sure it was explained. The shock wave made me think it was a sonic or energy weapon. Also, plastic bullets generally just hurt real bad. Whatever Najica uses clearly does something to knock the women out. However, I agree there is a lot of comments they are plastic bullets.

And yes, that is a great scene. Not so much an "oblivious" guard but certainly a "dumb" guard.

As for the cliche of the guard thinking "I wish something would happen" while not a uniform stealing scene (if it was it would be way to good to be true) is from New Mutants v1 #54. While sneaking onto the bad guy's island the heroes need to get past a female guard. The guard is thinking to herself that its a boring night and she wishes something would happen. Just at that moment the character Dani uses her mind powers to make the woman see of all things the Easter Bunny. This causes the guard to become transfixed which allows Dani to just walk up behind her knock her out with a well placed nerve pinch to the junction of her neck and shoulder. Really great scene. Now if only Dani had then stolen the uniform.

As for Najica, as Tirepanted said, a number of online sources talk about plastic bullets. However, I like you concept much more. What a great description "The bullet must then emit the sonic discharge which travels up the woman's nervous system, to her CNS. Wow! That is a great scene. I would have liked to have seen the blonde sentry relieved of her uniform by Dani. That reminds me of Chapter 3 in my Blood series when Anna used her powers of mind manipulation on the Order Novice, to make her see a child. Luring her into a culvert, where she bit her and stole her uniform. Such a great technique.

Thanks, the more I look back on the scene. The more i'am convinced its a sonic bullet, that uses the targets nervous system against itself. Which explains why it was so effective and was so fast in rendering the guard unconscious. The only pain she felt was the impact of the bullet on her body. Within a split second she's out like a light. Safely neutralised so Najica can take the uniform. Hopefully the guard will be out for a very long time.

Indeed, the scene ticks a lot of boxes for me. Love seeing Dani use something to make the woman see something that isn't to the point she is so fixated she becomes and easy target. And of course we get my all time favorite, the nerve pinch.

"The more i'am convinced its a sonic bullet, that uses the targets nervous system against itself. Which explains why it was so effective and was so fast in rendering the guard unconscious." Great way to imagine it. The burst causes massive disruption to the woman's CNS and it powerfully and quickly knocks her out.

"Hopefully the guard will be out for a very long time." I wonder the same thing. Since we don't see the aftermath we don't know if she tied the woman up but I am thinking the power of the bullet lasts a long time.

In episode 9 we actually see the aftermath of Najica taking out two female guards and stealing their uniforms. In that case we see that Najica has bound and gagged them and the two women seem like they may be partially conscious. However, we don't know if she used the stun bullets on them.
