Great scene - I love the detail of her knocking the woman out with her boot.

However - not to sound like a comic nerd , but I don't think this is from Alley Oop? The art looks different from what that strip looked like in the 1940s. Looks more like another adventure strip, like Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon.

It is. It's from a story where the characters get captured by Amazons.

I found the full story, in color. It was reprinted in Red Ryder Comics #17 and #18.

First, Ooola's jail break with the Amazon guard disguise:

It seems like she tied the Amazon with her own discarded clothing. The blue color of the bindings match her clothes.
Maybe I've got it wrong though.
