It has been a month since we left Corinna and Cassidy, after their daring escape from the overrun town of Bruhl. Due to the popularity of the story "Escape from Bruhl." I thought it best to continue their story. Here Corinna and Cassidy are in the final week of their training at boot camp at the Gallian Armies FOB near the capital Randgriz. Soon following their basic training, the pair will join Squad 7 of the Gallian Militia under Lieutenant Welkin Gunther to take the fight to the Imperial Invader. But as they are about to discover, their war will take a very different direction...
" Keep moving maggots, do you want the Imps to kill you? From what I'am seeing they won't be breaking a sweat." Boomed the voice of Drill Sergeant Rodriguez as Corinna crawled through the mud ditch, underneath a row of barbed wire getting her blue militia uniform slick with mud. She caught the eyes of her best friend Cassidy, who rolled her eyes and smiled at the Sergeants constant barking. " Did I tell you two ladies, to stop? Get moving private Corrina, and Corporal Blake." The two friends glanced at each other as they resumed their training. It had been two weeks since their escape from Bruhl, and both girls had enlisted in the Gallian Militia where they both been subjected to a harsh but rewarding basic training course. Their friendship growing from strength to strength, in the fortnight since their dramatic escape from their hometown, their harrowing experience forging a close bond that seemed to Corinna to hint at something more. During the course of their training, they had both been given classes according to their performance. It was unsurprising to Corinna that Cassidy had been chosen for the role of sniper, scoring the second highest in her marksmanship evaluation she was the finest shot Corinna had seen. Only beaten to the post by a girl from the country, named Marina Wulfstan. What came as a surprise to Corinna was her skill with a rifle, she had both shown an aptitude for stealth and long range shooting with the Gallian 1. While not as on par with Cassidy's slick shooting, Corinna could still hold her own. It was this skill that had earned Corinna her accreditation to Scout. " Come on slowpoke, I have got you." The red headed Cassidy held out her hand, hauling the Darcsen to her feet, Corinna felt the warmth of Cassidy's hand as they bumped into each other. Her beautiful face covered in mud, Cassidy rubbed the mud from Corinna's face gently carressing it. Something like lightning passed between their eyes, they both smiled. " Corinna, Blake! Get your sorry butts over here!" The two quickly pulled out, as Sergeant Rodriguez called them over. Next to him was a young woman, a corporal by her rank markings on her collar. Corinna straightened her shawl as the two approached their instructor " Yes sir. Private Corinna and Corporal Blake reporting, sir." She said as they both flashed salutes. "This is Corporal Parker, Captain Varrot's aide-de-camp. I don't know what you did to piss her off, but she wants both of you maggots to report to her office. On the double!" As the two flashed quick salutes and made to follow the Corporal Rodriquez called back. " Clean yourselves up first, recruits! I will not have recruits of mine going to see the Captain, looking like somethings that have been shit out of a cows ass!"
After five minutes of scrubbing and changing into fresh uniforms, the duo was shown to the office of Captain Eleanor Varrot commander of the 3rd Regiment of the Gallian Militia. There sat at her desk was the unmistakable figure of Captain Varrot, tall and wiry with angular features, green eyes framed by a pair of square wire framed spectacles, her black hair tied into an elegant bun. She wore her blue uniform with an air of dignity that commanded respect. It appears she wasn't alone, as a woman with honey blonde hair tied into a ponytail sat at her desk with her back to the pair. Corinna didn't recognise the uniform she was wearing, it was an all black outfit but the markings on it indicated the woman was a shock trooper. The two flashed Varrot professional salutes. " At ease, soldiers." She said returning the salute. "I hear you two have been making waves on the training field. I have someone here who wants to meet you." The young woman seated behind them rose to her feet, turning to face them. " So you two are the ones have been hearing so much about. Allow me to introduce myself, Lieutenant Sylvia Eckhart. Squad B Specter Company, Gallian Royal Guard." She held out her hand, but her facial features and accent marked her out as an Imperial. The two women did double takes. " What the fuck!? What gives? Why are you in a Gallian uniform? " Cassidy said reaching for a rifle slung on her shoulder that wasn't there. Varrot rose from her desk, fixing Cassidy with a stern look. " May I remind you, Corporal Blake. That you are addressing a superior officer. Please offer her your salute." She said with a tone full of authority. Cowed both women saluted the Lieutenant, who flashed a warm friendly smile." It's ok, Eleanor. I'am not really surprised. It's not everyday these troops see an Imperial wearing a Gallian Uniform." Corinna glanced at Cassidy before turning back Eckhart. " Begging the Lieutenants pardon, but why are we here?" She said as she shook the lieutenants hand. " Straight to the point. I like that. You are here because I read your after action reports, about your escape from Bruhl. Most Impressive." After gingerly shaking Eckhart's hand, Cassidy frowned. " That was all me, I killed those two imperials. We stole their uniforms to escape their advance parties, Corinna was just along for the ride." The two glanced at each other, smiling for a second Corinna felt the urge to squeeze Cassidy's hand. The Lieutenant nodded her approval. "According to Corinna, she arrived at the same idea before you rescued her for the second time. That shows initiative, a strong will to survive and resourcefulness, traits that I'am looking for." Varrot walked around her desk to stand next to Eckhart. "The Lieutenant here is looking for capable, young women like yourselves to join a special all female commando unit. That will operate behind enemy lines." The Lieutenant rubbed her hands together. " More specifically, we will specialise in disguise and Infiltration. Our goal is to kill the enemy, take her uniform and impersonate her. And spread fear, confusion and chaos in Imperial ranks to swiftly bring an end to the Imperial invasion of our homeland, by destroying key strategic positions and assisting friendly forces. Corrina and Cassidy raised surprised eye brows. " So what's in it for us, Lieutenant?" Said Cassidy, her interest piqued. " Besides serving your homeland, as something more than common soldiers? We will train you in warfare that many would consider dishonourable, but I would call necessary. You will not receive any medals or recognition, but still earn promotions. I warn you, the training will be nothing like what you recieved here. It will be intense and will cost you a piece of yourself, but something tells me you were both born for this. Still Interested?" Corinna shared another glance with Cassidy. " What if we refuse?" The Lieutenant folded her arms. "There will be no shame. You will stay here and fight the war with squad 7, with grace and honour. I will keep looking for my final recruits, with luck I will find them before the empire takes Randgriz." Varrot took off her glasses, wiping them before replacing them on her face. " I have seen both your aptitude scores, you are both cut out for something more then the militia. While I don't agree with the type of warfare, the lieutenant wages I can see it's necessity." Cassidy and Corrina swapped determined glances at each other, they had been ready since Bruhl. " We are in, Lieutenant." They said in unison, flashing salutes. " Excellent! Welcome to Squad B, Spectre Company." Said Eckhart, patting them both on their shoulders.
One Week Later
" So here is our objective." Said Lieutenant Eckhart as she drew a makeshift map in the dirt with her stick. "This checkpoint controls all Imperial road traffic to and from Vasel, it should be quiet at this time of the day the traffic won't get too busy until evening. We need to secure it, by eliminating the five female imperials guarding it. We take their uniforms and conduct false flag operations, diverting imperial forces way from Vasel to give squads 6 and 7 the best possible chance to liberate the town." One member of their team, an engineer who had introduced herself as Nancy Cartwright was a pretty girl of 21, with short brown shoulder length hair put her hand up. " What's our exfiltration, ma'am?" Eckhart folded her arms. " Well, Sergeant. The attack on Vasel will begin at dawn. When it does. Our mission will be a success, we change back into our uniforms and link up with friendly forces." Nancy satisfied gestured to the makeshift map. " So what about our Imperial friends, here?" The other member of team, was Diane Harper an attractive 23 year old scout with raven coloured hair shorn into a pixie cut. " There are five, one for each of us. Two patrol past the barrier. Here." She pointed further down the makeshift map. " Corinna and I can take them. We can use the garrotes, quick and clean." Cassidy replied as Corinna nodded her approval " I have been looking forward to this, since our training." Diane flashed a warm smile in their direction, Corinna liked her the moment they had met. She was pleasant, easy going and didn't seem too bothered that Corinna was a Darcsen, unlike Nancy. " Well look at the new girls. Ready to get stuck in." . Nancy let out a short snort of derision. Diane shot her an angry look before she glanced back down to the map. " The other two sentries, are a little further along on the other side of the barrier. While the Sergeant sits in the checkpoint proper." Nancy nodded. " Diane and I , will take those two. Use our plunge daggers to their throats, that way we don't bloody the uniforms." Eckhart smiled, she glanced around all of them. " That leaves the Sergeant for me, and my garrote. All of you this is our first mission together, let's see it through. Good luck." They fist bumped each other, then proceeded to their objective.
Imperial Privates Katrina Gronberg and Vera Straub both yawned deeply as they continued their patrol, at the far end of the checkpoint. They both had been on standby for about a week, assigned to this checkpoint outside of Imperial occupied Vasel preparing for a suspected Gallian thrust to retake the town. Good thought Katrina, it would mean she would get to shoot some Gallians at last. At 22 and 21 respectively, both girls had enlisted in the imperial army before they had recieved their draft notices thinking it better to jump before they were pushed. It didn't matter much to them anyway, they were both proud to serve the empire in their war against Federation expansionism. For Katrina it was more personal, her father had served in the Army during EW1 when the empire had suffered an humiliating defeat at the hands of the Gallians in the first invasion. Katrina's father had survived, but had spoken of the defeat with great rage and she was itching for a chance to get some payback for her father's honour. Both women were dressed in the standard imperial uniform, issued to scouts which consisted of a bronze coal scuttle visored helmet, with matching bronze leather chest plates and a field back pack, their ZM KAR 2 rifles slung at their shoulders. Under their armour they wore their battledress, matching khaki tunic, trousers held up by thick leather belts, black gloves and black jack boots. Under their helmets, they were both fine examples of imperial women. Katrina had high cheekbones rounded features and almond shaped blue eyes, her short shoulder length length blonde hair tied into a short ponytail. While her partner Vera had more shallower cheekbones with heart shaped features and big brown eyes, her short brown hair cut into a pixie cut. Coming out of her yawn, Katrina turned to Vera.
"I wish we could see some real action, I'am itching to shoot myself a Gallian." Katrina said bouncing on her heels. Vera shook her head. " I'am sure we will get our chance soon, plenty of Gallians to go around after all." She said with a dark undertone. Katrina frowned under helmet, perplexed by her friends lack of enthusiasm. "What's your problem, V? You have been edgy all day." They stopped their patrol, with their back to the bushes. " It's this war, Kat. I enlisted with you to fight the Federation, so why are we invading Gallia again?" Katrina raised her eyebrows, surprised at Vera's lack of patriotism. "We invaded Gallia, to get revenge for EW1 and to outflank the Federation, to end this war fast." Vera cocked her head, fixing her friend with a quizzical stare. " Really? Payback, that might be enough for you. Kat, you are the military brat. But not for me. We invaded Gallia before, and look how that turned out, it practically destroyed your family. No we should leave Gallia well enough alone, focus on our true enemy." Katrina had to laugh at her friends temerity. "You know, V. If I didn't love you so much, I would report you to the ISB." Both women started to laugh, but we're cut short as they felt the sensation of wires being looped around their throats. They had no time to cry out in surprise, their throats were crushed in two simultaneous tugs as they were dragged into the treeline.
"Bloody hell, Corri. That was fast, I didn't expect them to die so quickly. That wasn't at all like basic training." Said Cassidy as they unwound their garrotes from the throats of the dead imperials. " That was.. so fucking hot. The rush I felt when I killed that imperial, it was like nothing I had ever experienced. Was it like that for you, Cass?" Replied the Darcsen girl as she removed the helmet of the imperial she had killed, her big brown eyes staring at the night sky, once again she was around Corrina's age. Cass nodded as she removed the blonde imperials helmet. " Yeah, you get the adrenaline rush followed by the euphoria that you have killed them to survive another day. I don't get the same buzz, when I scope down an Imperial. Just don't let it change who you are inside, Corri. I like you for who you are, brave beautiful you." Corrina blushed slightly as she removed the dead woman's gloves, jack boots and backpack. Their commando training, had only drawn the two closer together and Cassidy had been flirting with her heavily, Corrina had welcomed it, her own feelings for the beautiful redheaded Gallian were only deepening. " Then I'am lucky to have such a beautiful teacher, to guide me. Honestly, Cass. I would have never had made it out of Bruhl, if it wasn't for you." Cassidy smiled, pausing from removing the blondes chest plate. She reached over, holding out an outstretched hand which Corrina took squeezing it tight. " I fell for you the moment I saw you, in my scope." Corrina chuckled slightly holding Cassidy's hand. " I fell for you the moment you saved my life, for the second time." Cassidy gently caressed Corrina's face, the Darcsen leaned in letting out a small moan of desire. "Let's complete our mission first, Corri. We can talk about our feelings once we are back at Randgriz, I promise." They both resuming their stripping of the dead Imperials, pausing only to shoot the occasional glance at each other, giggling. After removing the dead brunettes breast plate, Corrina unbuttoned the dead woman's tunic slipping it off her shoulders then unfastened her combat trousers, working them off her shapely hips peeling them down her long divine legs. " You know, Cass. These imperials are made up quite well, all things considered." Said Corrina as she glanced down at the half naked athletic corpse of the brunette imperial, clad only in her matching standard issue black crop vest and hipster shorts. Corrina's eyes scanning the swell of the dead girl's B-cup breasts, the nipples peaking through the thin fabric of her vest. "Trust me, Corri. They may be pretty but they still are the enemy, besides we both are much better looking then these two bitches." Replied Cassidy as they both stripped off their black Gallian uniforms, then quickly donned their stolen imperial uniforms. When they were finished, the two women stashed their black uniforms in their stolen backpacks then dragged the dead scantily clad imperials into the bushes. " Ready to be Imperials, again Corri." Cassidy slung her stolen rifle on her shoulder. " I was born ready, Cass." Replied Corrina as they made their way back to the road.
At the same moment Privates Gronberg and Straub were being dispatched, Imperial troopers Corporal Talia Schiller and Private Hilda Zimmer stood at the opposite end of the checkpoint opening their helmet visors, to enjoy a cigarette break. At 24 and 22, Talia was an engineer who wore a distinctive three ridged helmet and lighter flak armour compared to her fellow soldiers, with a canister of medical ragnaid on her belt. Whereas, the younger Hilda wore the typical outfit of an imperial scout. Under their helmets they were lookers. Talia had sharp angular cheekbones with a slightly squared jaw and narrow blue eyes, with platinum blonde hair tied into a sensible bun. While Hilda had smooth cheekbones rounded features, her face dappled with freckles and open doe shaped green eyes, her flame red air tied into a curved ponytail. Talia took a long drag from her cigarette. "Mark my words, Hilda. We will be back home in Schwartzgrad before winter. The Gallians are folding quickly like a bad hand of cards, they cannot stand before imperial might." Hilda shook her head, blowing smoke through her nostrils. " I think you are underestimating the Gallians, we invaded during EW1 and the Gallians beat us back then. What's to stop them from doing so again?" Talia took another drag from her cigarette. " Because we have Prince Maximilian himself leading us, we cannot lose." She said blowing out a smoke ring. Hilda laughed taking a long drag from her cigarette. " That Blowhard? This is his first war, he his only leading us because he kept on pestering his father to get a commission." Talia rounded on her friend. " I would watch your tongue that's tre--aghh!" Before Talia could complete her sentence, the two women were caught in chokeholds arms around their throats. They both tried to raise the alarm but felt the strange sensation of bladed objects piercing the back of their necks, slumping dead into their attackers arms as they were dragged into the bushes.
Squad B members Nancy Cartwright and Diane Harper lowered the corpses of the dead Imperial women to the ground. " So what do you of the new girl's? I like them. Especially the Darcsen girl, she is very cute." Said Diane as they pulled out their plunge daggers from the necks of the two imperials, wiping the blood on their trousers. Nancy let out a short as she knelt next to the dead Imperial engineer. " She's a Darcsen, that's all you need to know. She will cut and run at the first sign of danger. It's in their nature, that Cassidy girl is blind to it." She said as she removed the imperials helmet, followed by her gloves, webbing, backpack and jackboots." You and your Darcsen problem, I forgot. You know you should ask them how they escaped from Bruhl, it's a riveting story. Besides, I think they are in love the way they look at each other." Replied Diane as she removed the dead scouts armour and accessories. All she got in reply from the taciturn engineer, was a grunt of disapproval. They spent the rest of the time stripping the dead imperials, in an awkward silence. When they were finished, they stripped off their black uniforms then dressed in their stolen imperial uniforms, standing over the scantily clad bodies of the dead imperials wearing only their standard issue matching black crop vests and hipster shorts. Stashing their uniforms in their stolen packs, the two commandoes dragged the dead underwear clad imperials into the bushes. Slinging their stolen rifles onto their shoulders, Diane turned to her friend. "Look Nance, you should Corinna a chance. This is her war as much as it is ours, more so given what the imps do to her people." Diane was met with more silence as they exited onto the road.
Imperial Sergeant Zara Schultz sat up, with her feet on her desk in the checkpoints guardhouse. She was nursing a warm cup of coffee, her helmet resting on her desk. Zara took a long gulp of her coffee, savouring the warm feel of the liquid as it washed down her throat. It would be another hour until the first of the reinforcements to Vasel began to filter through, in preparation for the Gallian counter attack so Zara could afford to take a little liberty. At 28, Zara was a career soldier having rose from the measly rank of private, to the Sergeant she was today. She had earned her crimson armour and uniform through blood. Zara's uniform was similar to that of an Imperial Army shock trooper, only coloured crimson to indicate her NCO rank. As she set down her coffee, at her desk Zara caught her reflection it the window. She was a looker with sculptured Cheekbones, sharp angular features and pale grey eyes, her shoulder length black hair cut into a centre parted bob. Zara sighed deeply, she hated this fucking country and it's people she wanted to be at home with her husband, instead she was manning this checkpoint waiting for the locals to attack. Almost subconsciously she took out a picture of her husband, from her trouser pocket. Completely lost was she in memories of home, Zara failed to register the thin wire that had been looped around her neck. With one sharp tug upwards, Zara's throat was crushed as she was pulled from her chair onto the cold floor. The last thing she saw was her killer standing over her, who had the unmistakable bearing of a fellow Imperial woman.
Lieutenant Sylvia Eckhart unwound the garrote from around the dead Sergeants throat, she picked the woman's photograph of her husband screwing it up dispassionately into a waste bin. After stripping off her black uniform, Eckhart knelt by the dead Imperial Sergeant and started to undress her. As she quickly removed the woman's armour plate, gloves and jackboots Sylvia reflected on the path that had led her here. At 29, Eckhart was born in Gallia to an Imperial father and Gallian mother her parents being both ex-military. Sylvia's father Gunther was a deserter back in EW1 who had turned his back on his people and their war, falling in love with Sylvia's mother Francesca a Gallian scout and later with the nation itself. Eckhart considered herself Gallian, and had to put up with a lot of shit from Gallian officers when she entered the academy, due to her imperial looks. Upon graduation she served with the 4th armoured regiment, until she had came to the top brass about her ideas for unconventional warfare. Technically, Spectre company and its three squads were part of the Royal Guard but in actuality were an independent special forces outfit, modelled after the Atlantic Federations spec ops teams. Shaking her head of thoughts of the past, Eckhart finished stripping the dead Imperial Sergeant kneeling over her scantily clad corpse, clad only in her standard issue black underwear. She stood over the dead woman dressing in her stolen uniform, after placing the imperials helmet on her head Eckhart rolled the half naked body under the desk, concealing it from view. Before she exited the guardhouse, Eckhart picked up the Sergeants ZM 2 SMG slinging it over her shoulder. She received signals from the two couple, now fully dressed in their stolen uniforms. Eckhart gestured for them to approach, with her team gathered around her Eckhart clapped her hands together. " Good work, ladies. According to Intelligence reports, we have an hour until the Vasel reinforcements come through. Squads 6 and 7 are counting on us, to make their attack a little bit easier. We need to swap around these road signs, send them around away from Vasel." The group nodded as Nancy gestured to the small military jeep. " That's our evac. We jump in that thing, drive to friendly lines." The four Squad B members fistbumped, Nancy even reluctantly touched Corinna, as they moved the signposts around to confuse the enemy.
After an hour, Squad B had gotten into their positions acting like the dutiful imperials they had killed. Corrina walked with Cassidy as they retraced the steps of the two imperials they were impersonating. " Do you you believe that love can be found in the horrors of war, Cori?" Whispered Cassidy as they continued their sweep. Corinna turned to Cassidy, smiling under helmet. "My mother once said love conquers all. Even after all that I have seen, I still believe in the sentiment. Someone meant for our paths to cross, Cass. I'am glad they did." Cassidy squeezed Corinna's hand. "My mother said the same thing to me. I know we haven't known each other for very long, but we have something don't we. A connection, I wasn't imagining that." Corinna returned the squeeze. "No, you weren't I feel the same way about you. I love you Cass." Before Cassidy could reply, a column of Imperial light tanks rolled past, their ragnite radiators glowing a fierce blue, with three tri wheeled trucks of infantry behind them. A staff car, with a young female Imperial officer inside was leading them. Cassidy shook her head in disgust. " If it's one thing, you can count on the imps for being it's on time."
Using her disguise, Eckhart approached the convoy flashing the young pretty officer a salute. "Good evening, Ma'am. On your way to Vasel?" The young officer, who could be no more than 25 returned the salute. " Yes, Sergeant. Lieutenant Jung, A Company, 42nd Armoured Brigade. Here are my orders." As the young officer handed Eckhart her paperwork, she quickly scanned her. Like all Imperial officers, she was dressed in a brown uniform with matching single breasted jacket, with gold buttons and embroidery and trousers with red piping down the seams, that hugged her gorgeous figure very well. The rank markings on her collar, cuffs and gold filigreed epaulettes marking her out as a 2nd Lieutenant. The girl herself was very attractive with long silvery hair, tied into a high ponytail with classic sculptured cheekbones and slightly pointed features, with almond shaped deep blue eyes. Eckhart made a show of checking her paperwork. " All seems to be in order, Lieutenant. Just follow the road signs to get to Vasel." Eckhart saluted the woman, handing her back her orders before she gestured to a disguised Diane to raise the barrier. " Give them hell, Lieutenant!" Eckhart said, flashing her another salute. Lieutenant Jung flashed the salute back. " Oh, we will. Sergeant. Driver, get us moving." She said as she gestured to her driver. The convoy drove forward, past the barrier and down the wrong road, Eckhart smiled widely under her helmet, laughing inwardly at how easy to fool the mighty imperial was. She turned to Diane, as she lowered the barrier. "We have at least three other convoys to divert before dawn. Let's look sharp."
Over the course of the next three hours, Squad B had successfully diverted three other imperial convoys. One was a troop convoy, the second a convoy stacked with crates of ragnaid and the last was a fuel convoy for the Imperial Tanks stationed at Vasel. As the dawn sun rose, Group B could see the fires from Vasel knowing that squads 6 and 7 were involved in heavy fighting, they waited for an additional hour for the fighting to die down. Their work done, the team changed out of their stolen uniforms and back into their Black Gallian uniforms re-equipping their Gallian weapons, then got into the open topped Imperial jeep driving down towards Vasel. They got halfway down the road when they ran straight into a patrol of Gallian Militia, pulling up quickly as the lead female scout drew her rifle. " Halt who goes there? What you doing in an Imperial jeep." Next to Corinna in the back, Cassidy got out of the jeep. " Alicia? Alicia Melchiott is that you?" She said with a chuckle. Corinna thought she recognised the woman, it was the red scarf of Bruhl's home bakery, tied over her long brown hair that gave her away. Corinna, also got out of the jeep falling into step beside Cassidy. " Hi, Alicia. It's me Corinna, from the mill. I used to deliver the flour." Alicia grinned widely running up to them. " Corinna, and Corporal Cassidy Blake, as I live and breathe." She both gave them crushing hugs. "You two, were supposed to be slated for the Sevens but the last Welkin and I heard, some mysterious special operations group snatched you up. I guess that explains those strange uniforms." Before they could talk further, Eckhart had walked over. "My apologies for interrupting this reunion, but my team to need to link up with Lieutenant Gunther." Alicia nodded in understanding. " I guess we have you guys to thank for the relatively light imperial presence, when we took Vasel. Welkin is back there in Vasel, I will take you there. Aika!" Another female scout, this time with light brown pigtails appeared beside her. " You will take the patrol, and secure the checkpoint ahead of us." The scout nodded. " You got it, boss!" Aika saluted as she gestured to the rest of the rest of her patrol forwards. Corinna and the others walked back to the imperial jeep, then drove down the road to Vasel.
As night fell, Corinna sat down on her cot, in her tent supping at the rabbit soup served up by Lieutenant Gunther himself, using some of Alicia's bread as a dip. It had been good to see the familiar faces from Bruhl again, Corinna and Cassidy had spent the whole day catching up with Welkin, Alicia and Isara who was driving the Edelweiss tank for the Sevens. For a second Corinna felt like she was back home, that the war was miles away. But the sound of distant gunfire, soon disavowed her of that notion. As Corinna placed a bread coated with stew into her mouth, the flap to her tent opened revealing a smiling Cassidy, carrying a bowl of stew." I see you couldn't resist the rabbit stew either, they told me Marina shot the rabbits herself." She said as she sat down next to Corinna. " Wait, Marina's with the Sevens. It's a small world after all." Cassidy laughed as she set down her stew. "Cori? Back when we were at the checkpoint, you said that you loved me as more than a friend." Corinna set her dinner down, cupping Cassidy's face in her own, smiling. "That is indeed what I said, Cass. Shall we continue where we left off, before we were so rudely interrupted by those Imps?" Cassidy suddenly smacked her lips onto Corinna's, passionately kissing her, Corinna returned the kiss with gusto. " I love you too, Corri." Cassidy said as they pulled out. " Shall we have a little privacy, Cass?" Cassidy kissed her lover on the cheek, before she closed the tent flap. The two then made out on Corrina's cot, until tiredness overcame came and they fell asleep in each others arms.

Re: A False Flag: A Valkyria Chronicles Story
Good story, I like this kind of team action,
Reminds me of the game 'Commandos'.
An idea:
If there is enough time, Corrina and Cassidy will kiss each other while undressing, while placing the victim's face between their legs and rubbing their genitals with victim's lips.

That's were I got my inspiration and also from history. The Volksdeusthche during WW2. The Germans used soldiers with American parentage or were raised in the USA. They parachuted them behind enemy lines, disguised as Military Police during the Battle of the Bulge. There mission was similar to Spectre squad b, to cause chaos and confusion by redirecting enemy forces away from the combat area. This also served to assist friendly forces. They were ultimately unsuccessful and were either KIA or executed for being spies.
These types of operations are called false flag operations.

I doubt that would find the time, I'am afraid they are on mission after all. Besides Cassidy and Corrina hate the Imperials, they wouldn't do it even if they wanted to.pc305435632 wrote: Sat May 06, 2023 4:10 am
