Post by Stormtrooper1990 »

This is the first of my SI personnel files for 1st Squad 3rd Infiltration Regiment (IRT), who have featured in many of SOG 6's Operations. This serves as background for my upcoming spin-off series, detailing their very own storyline. First up is Pvt(later Corporal) Siobhan Donnelly.

SHADOW INITIATIVE PERSONNEL FILE:- 1ST SQUAD 3RD IRT

Age: 23
Place of Birth:- Belfast, Northern Ireland
Nationality: British( Northern Irish)

Relationship Status:- Married to Corporal Annabeth Foley
Religion:- Roman Catholic
SI Serial Number:- 9066721
IRT Rank: Corporal
Specialisations: Hand-to-hand Combat, Close Quarter Combat, Disguise and Infiltration, Combat Medicine, Advanced Pistol Training

Personal Summary

Like many SI Operatives, Donnelly is a child of the system. She never knew her parents as she was found abandoned on the steps of a Catholic orphanage in Belfast. Raised in the stuffy repressed atmosphere of the orphanage system, Donnelly had a troubled childhood constantly rebelling against the strict discipline enforced on her by the nuns of her orphanage. Growing up in this repressed atmosphere Donnelly discovered her sexuality at the age of 16, and was punished on numerous occasions for her relationship with another girl. Finally reaching a breaking point, Donnelly escaped from the orphanage with nothing to her name except the clothes on her back.

It was during this time living on the streets of Belfast that Donnelly flittered into acts of petty crime, generally mugging young women for their clothes and money, acts of theft, burglary and vandalism. She was arrested and later charged with 5 counts of Assault and Theft, it was while shewas in remand that she was approached by a shadowy individual claiming to be a representative from a group helping disadvantaged young women find employment. He was later revealed as a Darkwatch recruiter, who posted Donnelly's bail and took her from prison. It's from here that all official records of Siobahn Donnelly cease.

Lured in by the promise of purpose and shelter, Donnelly was trained as a Darkwatch Sentry at their training camp in Libya. It was here she would meet her future wife, Annabeth Foley and the two developed a loving but secret relationship due to Darkwatch's censure on homosexual relations between its soldiers. According to her Darkwatch personnel file Donnelly repeatedly began to question her superiors, as she had stated during training she had no desire to take human life. Donnelly had also expressed a desire to learn battlefield medicine, a skill that her Darkwatch superiors considered Irrelevant. She and Foley were placed on punishment detail, to a Darkwatch Operation near Ulster where they had a fateful encounter with SOG 6 Operatives Vesper and Nightingale. The two were subdued by the Operatives and their uniforms stolen for disguise purposes. Despite this, Donnelly and Foley later became close friends to the famous SOG 6 pair. It was this incident that changed the lives of Donnelly and her future wife.

Waking up in a Darkwatch hospital near Fort William, Donnelly and Foley turned the tables on their former employers by escaping the hospital by first stealing the uniforms of Darkwatch medical personnel then a pair of Darkwatch sentries. Later after stealing the clothes and vehicle of two students, Donnelly and Foley turned themselves in at SI Glasgow station, requesting asylum and expressing a desire to defect. After a fortnight of intense psychological screening and interrogation, the pair were cleared of having any Darkwatch ties and were recruited into the IRT program into SGT(later Lt) Pavlova's 1st squad. The two have been an integral part of the team, ever since where Donnelly serves as the squads field medic.

Donnelly also serves as counselor in the Darkwatch Amnesty Program, assisting former Darkwatch soldiers, like herself, with integrating into their new careers in the SI following their debrief and defection.

Psychological Summary

During her debriefing it was revealed that while she was verbally abused by the nuns in her care, Donnelly later forgave them and it as not diminished her faith. This faith as created a strong work ethic and the desire to preserve life whenever possible, however despite her faith Donnelly is not afraid to use violence to achieve her goals but refuses to take another human life. She as mentioned that the non-lethal approach of the SI is a much better fit for her, then the "ends justify the means" mentality of Darkwatch. Donnelly also shows a disdain for cruelty and torture, preferring to extract information by playing good cop.

Both Donnelly and her wife Foley, have flourished under the open door policy of the SI. Their relationship going from strength to strength by the day, Sergeant Pavlova was quoted as saying that the couple are the backbone of her team and serve as a source of inspiration to their fellow team mates. It has also been noted that they have a close personal bond with Operatives Vesper and Nightingale, who have taken the two under their wing as protogees. Often taking their lead from the more experienced SOG 6 Operatives and also adopting some of their characteristics like emotional detachment and the deriving of sexual pleasure from conducting disguises. It is because of this that Donnelly and Foley have expressed an interest in joining the SOG training program.
