well, about the title of the subforums , I will change many things ( just for example , I am trying to make 'members only ' some stories , and THIS IS IMPERATIVE, but it's difficult, this board is a bit 'complicated , but I am trying right now- )

the main problem about the 'excerpt and stories ' section is that I uploaded barely 1/3 of all the stories I saved


now I must retire to my room to bang my head against the wall...

Hi ES,
Just to confirm, are you trying to prevent guests from viewing the story forum or just part of it ?. If so I think I've found the links to do that. It's in the forum permissions section. I can't find a way to restrict access to individual stories, so we may have to create a "members only" story section for ones that would require limiting access to.

I'll send you a PM in a short while on how to do that. I don't want to do it directly in case you want to implement it differently

Darth, buddy, I edited the title of the entire topic dedicated to the stories published by the old heroes of the 'real' USB

( duplicating or splitting each single section, with two forums per each writer -1) previous stories and 2)current stories is impossible at least at this early stage...we have to rebuild all the board first)
this way the 'élite' formed by all the writers of the glorious , unforgettable board is newly reunited


...and this way your new story( aaagh a satanist story ) can stay along with the others you wrote ten years ago



about the other problems, that consumed me from weeks...yes, I did it. But...


as of now, the whole 'Stories by non USB members ' section is invisible...but the TITLE itself vanished to non members, this is beyond my intentions


I have to try again. I need something different ( thanks Redrunner- I'll send you a PM )


the main issue is still the fact that all the 'excerpts ' ( the REAL excerpts from mainstream stories) already posted at the previous boards are no more, gone for good...because I saved one tenth of these short ( very short indeed) vignettes


this is THE ONLY real loss . I saved all the rest

SUFFER IS THE HALF DEMON/ HALF HUMAN DAUGHTER OF SATAN WHO REBELLED AGAINST HER FATHER AND HAD A BRIEF AFFAIR WITH LONER. SHE'S A GOOD GUY.

then Suffer is a sort of female Hellboy ? or maybe the " Campy Comics" version of Illyana Rasputin ( " Magik " ) ?

by the way, back in the late '80s /early '90s I fell in love with Illyana Rasputin

oh yea, back in the 80's magik was a really cool character. I loved the new mutants.
