Internal Server Errors

Hi guys
I may have brought this up in the past, so forgive me for sounding like a broken record. But as anyone run into something called an "Internal Server Error" while posting or sending PMs? Or as Arc and I like to call them the white screens of death.
They have been a pain in the arse and have affected us both during our planning stages for Ellana's next adventures.
If so then how can we minimise the effects or better eliminate them entirely?

the issue emerges from time to time
https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2538131
as a moderator, I haven't the right authorizations to fix , I believe only John can solve the problem
but trying to fix these issues is incomparably dangerous, you can have the whole board collapsed

if you press the wrong button
Stormy, straight question, any issue while replying to a post? pay attention not while sending a PM but while replying to a post in the "surface"

Es, no I haven't had any problem with replying to posts. This issue crops up mostly during PMs and a couple of times when I have posted stories. With my recent Ellana story, I had to cut short my story and complete it in replies. It was a nuisance.

I've have another of these accursed "Internal Server Errors" while writing my latest ECSH story. Can somebody please get this issue fixed and quickly. Where is the damned IT guy when you need him/her.
I'am sure I'am not the only board writer with this problem. And before anyone asks, this isn't related to the PMs or how full my inbox is. This occured when I was saving my drafts of my latest story. On the "post new topic" section. This is most annoying and distressing, not to mention damaging to the board.
If anyone as had similar experiences then please let me know.

It's not your fault, Esercito. It's the fault of the run board software. I any event, I wish you luck in getting the admin authorisation..

Is this still resulting in you actually losing everything you just typed? Like you spend hours typing up a story, try and post it, it fails and you lost the lot?

Hi Void
Yeah, whenever I write a story I write it in piecemeal save it in drafts then post it when it's finished. This time, I got over half way through my story and when I went to save the draft...up comes the white screen of death and I lose my work. My only option is to post what I have already saved and finish off the story using the reply function. It's a pain in the arse and maddening, it really is, hours and days of work at risk...

You got a YouTube account? Any old account on there?
An idea is before you try and save, copy all the text and paste, then post it on a video comment section, they try and save on this forum. If it goes wrong, then you can copy the text off the video comment and try again until it works. Then delete the YouTube comment.

Yeah, I have a YouTube account. That's sounds like an interesting idea, I never would have thought of that but don't comment sections have a word limit? Either way I appreciate the help, I might just try it out, thanks for the tip Void.
