"It's always a sad state of affairs to see two promising young women just up and vanish. One an intelligent college student and the other an aspiring police officer...but I'm afraid they stuck their noses where they shouldn't have. Their clothes will be found washed up on the shores of the Circular River, and a witness will claim seeing one of them fall in and the other dived in to save her, only for them both to tragically lose their lives in the river's darkest depths, their bodies never recovered. The case will be closed, and no one will ever know that Miss Claire Redfield and Miss Jill Valentine are in fact deep below the surface of Raccoon City, experiencing the worst experiments our scientists can think to concoct. I hope they won't feel too bad, however. Their lives will now exist for the purposes of furthering scientific research. They should see it as an honour, seeing as they won't have any other choice in the matter."
