A female detective is captured by some criminals. The main villain's girlfriend then poses as her, wearing her dress to spring a trap. (The villainess mentions at one point that she mended the detective's dress, since the woman is taller than her.)
The real detective is later seen tied up in the villain's hideout - she has been redressed in another set of clothes (after all, this movie is from the 1950s).
