I do think that this just further proves that sites like pixiv is the way to go and I understand why several artists have already moved over there. Deviantart has just become a shell of it's former self.

This is just my own opinion.

Before we start blaming DeviantArt, which has plenty wrong with it, niborg131 was also suspended yet a search of deviant art still shows his images but has his name with a line through it which means that his account is suspended. Demir on the other had does not come up in the search at all, no pictures what so ever. This may mean that he removed his account and deleted all images himself. This may have been due to warnings or even harassment from other deviant art members ( not that would happen - snark LOL )

Just my thoughts, could be totally wrong.

If Demir has gone then DA is done and it's time to pack my bags save my work and go too. Finally it's signed its own demise and become a spent force. It has become evident by the disappearance of many people and much art.Yvonne Craig is gone people have started opening Patreon accounts and it's only a matter of time before they come for me or Jomsviking

Spoke with Dimi via email this morning and he has received a ban. As yet
He has made no decisions on his future but can be found at fetnoir and patreon.
I have suggested he may want to consider joining us here

Terrible news. Should have saved some of his work before this happened. This is the second artist that I follow that got their walking papers before I could save any of their work. Should really start looking at work I want to save. Does he have his work posted elsewhere in its entirety?
