Hey, guys I have a new job and out of an abundance of caution I deleted my Deviant Art account because my new employer might get the wrong idea about me.
Don't worry I'll be back with a new email address and a Deviantart account fairly soon...with all new artwork I'm working on right now, so stay tuned.

I admit I almost panicked this early morning when I saw you have deactivated your DA account

congratulations for your new job; as matter of fact deactivating wasn't excessive, I have read somewhere that many, many candidates interviewing employers check the facebook, instagram and other accounts while completing the interviews

Yeah, the place I going to work is a nursing home and they're doing a serious criminal background check on me. Then I got to wondering what they might find out if they typed my name into google. So I entered my handle into google and the first result that came up was my Deviantart account. That's when I decided to deactivate my account there. Now I just have to figure out a new internet handle to use...
