Done in permanent marker (fine and ultrafine point).
I don't do too many full pictures (characters, background, et al) fully in marker, but every so often I just don't feel like whipping out the crayons and pastels. Yesterday, apparently, was one of those times.
Anyway, this is my dbz-girls entry for October 2008. The theme = Disguise/dressing one of the minor female DB/Z/GT characters up as one of the major characters (male or female). I chose to go with a Dragonball setting in which Mai steals young ChiChi's armor in order to trick Goku into giving her the dragonradar. Goku (the ever-gullible lunkhead) seems to be falling for it, too...hehe.
I put plenty of detail into the background this time, but no hidden messages/puns. However, you will see Emperor Pilaf (Mai's boss) and Soba (her coworker/fellow minion) floating around in the upper left-hand corner of the picture and little ChiChi subdued behind a rock in the lower right. Yeah, I managed to get EVERYONE in ^^
In case you can't read my crappy handwriting, here's what Goku and Mai are saying/thinking:
Goku: Gee, I would loan ya the dragonradar, ChiChi, but Bulma kinda made me promise I'd keep an eye on it...
Mai: (thinking) Think of the dental plan...Think of the dental plan...
