Cheaper gherkins

Great to be back among the employed after 2 and a half months. Now I get to hear via radio on multiple speakers what's going on in general across the country. Looks like we are on route for a golden age. :P
All day today, hearing the fantastic news every hour that gherkins are going to be a few pennies less, among other select foods. Don't really buy gherkins much, though I do find them quite nice, I like the little round sliced ones in jars.

Been seeing comments we could save as much as £1.75 a month if we play our cards right. Maybe, just maybe ..... this generosity might be extended to pickled red cabbage. Have to see how things go.

The nights might be drawing in, the temperatures dive low, but there is always light to be found.

The government generous? Heh! Mate, don't you believe it.

For one, I don't really like gherkins and 40p off the average weekly shop isn't a drop in the ocean when it comes to the cost of living. We've still the corrupt energy corporations leeching off us and ramping up bills whenever they get the chance. Plus, you've got the ever increasing cost of fuel and food thanks to the orange fat bastard in the White House and big ears in Tel Aviv.

Nah, this is the literal calm before the storm. Labour like they always do will cut public services, Farage will keep growling at everybody and denying he's rascist, and Badenoch will continue being a snooty cow.

And I'm sorry to say that this "generosity" won't extend to prickled red cabbage (which I like by the way ;))

No, there is no golden age for the UK on the horizon. That ship has sailed long ago, back when the county had a backbone.

Sorry for my rant, Void, I'm just a cynical young man who's too used to disappointment to care anymore.
