A way out of town [4k]

A notorious jewellery thief was on the run after a particularly bountiful heist: just a fistful of those precious stones in her pocket could bring millions. If only she managed to escape, for the whole police department was searching for her.
She reached the outskirts of the city on foot, and prowled the half-lit neighborhoods until she came upon an empty parking lot, long time untended. The edge of the city was within arms reach, but the thought of travelling to another state on her two feet was daunting.
It was then, when a loud rumble shook up the dark parking lot as a beautiful red motorcycle came into view, carrying a female rider dressed in full motor suit. It stopped at the very center of the area.
"Hi, I've just arrived to town," the rider said loudly. It seemed she was recording an audio message on her earpiece. "What was the address, again? My connection is all wonky here, can't open our chat."
The jewellery thief frowned with determination. After all, you can't be a successful criminal if you don't use every random opportunity to its maximum. And she really did not want to walk all those miles between states.
