Interesting video that documents many of the statements made by Steven Ogg in regards to his GTA V Trevor Philips character.

Like the video says, why even go to events where it's a guaranteed cert that Trevor will be brought up?

I've seen many of these videos by him in the past. He purely only viewed this as role to look good on his CV. It was just another paycheck to him. Look, I know how many people love him (well Trevor anyway). But if he really wants to distance himself that much....Then let him. To be honest, I'll probably remember him more as "Simon" in the walking dead anyway.

That's exactly the problem though. He keeps turning up to these events WITH his 2 GTA V co-stars ....and then gets all pissy when GTA or Trevor is mentioned to him! An endless illogical cycle.

I actually think of Simon more when I see him aswell.

This. It's fully understandable if he doesn't want to be associated with the role or franchise anymore, but you can't show up at a convention with your co-stars and stand in front of countless fans of the franchise and get angry at them for being there. If he hates the role and the fact he's recognised for it this much, then don't show up and throw a fit because of it. Just leave a message on social media or to the organisers and say you don't want to come.

I mean, he seemingly actively seeks out opportunitets to be angry over his role as Trevor, which is just weird at this point. Just move on and all (except the most obsessed who they themselves need help) of your fans will as well. I wouldn't be surprised if his angry reactions are just a weird way for him to stay relevant, which would just be sad.

Then, he's just a rage baiter.

Your probably right though, because when he goes off on one, he makes views, people remember him (let's face it we're talking about it now), so yeah and let's be honest. Apart from GTA and the walking dead, can anyone really remember him for anything else....And I do mean really.....because I can't.
