We have at least one confirmed USB scene in this film, this confirmation comes from the latest trailer just dropped. If you look at the 1:00 mark, Megan attacks a woman (an actress maybe?) in her changing room and she leaves wearing both her costume and her wig. See for yourself below.

Nice. Is it a blade or a syringe she jabs her with?

Looks like a short switchblade to the neck to me. If you've seen the first movie then you should know Megan really likes killing people. Besides, it's not like she as to worry about getting any blood on the costume. It's dark and the outfits colour hides the bloodstains.

So I'll be honest, to me it looked like a syringe. Now the reason why I say this is because, Gemma is constantly heard saying to Megan "no killing" and throughout the trailers, they keep showing Megan in scenes where she's saying things like "I'm not that person anymore". So it's almost like their really trying to hammer home that she's not a killer anymore (unless it's main villains). So for story purposes, I reckon it's just a syringe.

But speaking of villainess. The antagonist of this film is called "Amelia" and in the trailers during her escape, she's always seen as being naked, which means she's obviously going to need to get some clothes from somewhere isn't she. ;) Plus, in all the trailers, they've shown Amelia in different outfits and disguises to either get to her targets or get into various locations, so I'd be very, very surprised if we don't get a clothes steal scene or two with her.

P.S. I have indeed seen the first "Megan" film and she only killed people that she deemed were a threat to Cady, so that's another reason why I don't think she kills the actress for her costume, I could be wrong of course, but it'd just seem a little bit out of character for her to kill a random person who doesn't pose any threat to Cady. :)

But you get the feeling from the darkly comic tone of the movie, that Megan's not going to listen to her. In fact she delights in annoying her. Besides, when she stabs the girl she makes an ironic statement saying "I take almost no pleasure from this." And in the trailer, Gemma says "No killing even though you like killing people." It could imply both lethal or non lethal, and despite the fact she kills to protect Cady, Megan is gleefully sadistic in doing so.

I just watched the video again and when I paused it, it looked like Megan does stab the girl with a thin bladed implement that looks nothing like a syringe and stabs it nowhere near the carotid artery. It could be goes against instructions and kills her anyway to avoid having a witness and avoid any awkward situations. So in my humble opinion, I think it's lethal which really wouldn't bother me in the slightest but I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.

I think you may be right about Amelia. I think if Megan gets a clothes stealing scene then just like Terminator, it stands to reason that Amelia will get some as well. I did see her in a gold dress, disguised as a hooker and she would have to kill a random woman for her clothes during or after her escape from the lab.

I guess we'll find out when the movie comes out on June 27th.

Oh yeah, their definitely going for a terminator 2 sort of vibe with this film and I love it personally.

There's also a scene of Amelia in a military base wearing a different outfit and glasses, stealing missile codes, looking over her shoulder. Another scene maybe?

I just hope that if there other clothes steal scenes then there not all "off screen" though, or that's just bad writing.

As do I Trackman. It's been far too long without a decent mainstream USB scene and to have multiple scenes in one movie, would be the icing on the cake.

That sounds like a clothes stealing scene to me, after all killer robots aren't usually allowed on military bases without stealing some poor woman's clothes first. ;)

I agree completely, if it's nothing I hate more then it's lousy poorly written and lazy 'offscreen scenes. :x All I can say is roll on the 27th June. 8-)

Yeah, with the context I'm guessing knockout. But the film opens soon enough, so we'll see.

From what I've seen from the trailers, the sequel looks to be leaning towards more of a comedic tone than the first film, and trying to make Megan less of a cold killer. And even in the first film, she mainly just killed people she deemed a threat (whether correctly or otherwise). So that's probably just a knockout syringe. Though I assume the Amelia character (if she has any such scenes in the film) would be less merciful...
