Just asking people from the UK if it seems like it's been a REALLY long time since it rained?
Maybe just a regional thing but I swear the last proper downpour I remember was back in March.
Curious if this is a nationwide thing or not....

Rained here (the part of the UK I'm in) for about an hour a few week ago,, but even then it was only very light rain and it's been both bright and sunny everywhere since.
Don't question it though my man, enjoy the nice, hot sun while you can,l. Who knows how long we'll have it for.

Hi Void
I live in the East Midlands ( born and bred Nottingham man) and we haven't had any rain in two weeks. It's nice and balmy, today for instance was about 24°c. But to be honest I'am not really a fan, I suffer from heatstroke and hay-fever give me a nice dose of cooling torrential rain anyday.

But I noticed on the way to work today a lot of grass is withered up and brown.
If it carries on like this we can expect food prices to rise even further...

Couldn't agree with you more! There is nothing quite like a torrential downpour following a heatwave, the relief more than anything.Void99 wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 9:41 amSummer rain is the best I think!Stormtrooper1990 wrote: Sun May 11, 2025 5:58 pm Hi Void

Well inbetween global warming and Trumps tariffs, what else is new. Although we should be alright if we don't buy American, besides their chocolate tastes like gravel anyway.
