The Star Trek crew encounters a lookalike crew from another dimension, where Mariner is a cruel captain. About two-thirds through the episode, the bad Mariner knocks the good Mariner unconscious with a phaser and steals her uniform. She leaves the real Mariner tied up and redressed in her own Starfleet uniform.
