Uniform Stealing Board

Hi Everyone

I don't know how many of you are even aware of what's been going on in regards to the conflict between myself and a certain board moderator. And how this has left me in the situation of being something of a pariah on this board.

I feel it's time to finally set the record straight and to lay to bed the rumours surrounding myself. So where to begin?


1. The Accusation of Manipulating Board Posts


As of July 2024, some of you may have noticed my rather erratic posting style and how this was mistaken for myself sabotaging the posts of fellow board writers. Well this wasn't the case. In my lack of understanding of the board's procedures, I fell into this trap and I apologise if this caused any distress to my fellow writers. But it seems that our new moderating team seeks to streamline this for all of us and make it transparent for the rest of us. I wish then luck in this noble task.


But a part of me believes and still does that this was an issue that was simply blown out of all proportion. In what could have been solved by a few PMs, was instead turned into a public spectacle that only harmed our community. Everyone on the board nows that posts are overridden from time to time, whenever someone makes a new post. But this doesn't mean anything, since other members have a list of unreads and they view what they want to view.

What is distressing me at the moment is the current toxic culture that has manifested itself on story corner. Indeed, my recent post was to raise the issue of fairness and whether A.I art should be used to illustrate stories when it hasn't been formally declared as such by the author. This issue is currently being debated by our moderator team and they should reach a consensus soon.


2. Storm Shadow


While I'am not sure how many on the board have read my controversial work, I wish to say that for the record that my story was never meant to condone terrorism. Contrary to the opinions of one moderator, Storm Shadow was meant to be an anti war piece, condemning the violence perpetrated by both sides of this horrific and destructive conflict. Should I have been more explicit with the story? Yes I should have and that's on me, it probably would have left no room for doubt but nobody's perfect. But I don't regret writing it.


But what the whole Storm Shadow affair as shown us is there is an issue of freedom of speech and freedom of expression which are according to the Law on Human Rights, are among two of the most fundamental principles. What does it say about us if we restrict these freedoms? We all have different opinions and we shouldn't allow them to divide us, they should be used to bring us together. We must acknowledge that this is a dangerous we live in but all the more reason to find our escape.


Consider that I once wrote two other stories set in the middle east; Escape To Gaza and Heart of Darkness. Now since the fallout from Storm Shadow , a certain board moderator decreed these as "pro terrorist" stories but this is a fallacy. I will not go into get detail about their plots here but I invite you to draw your own conclusions, you can even message me to talk about them, I'am an open book. I do earn you though, Heart of Darkness is not for the faint of heart and is quite graphic in parts. And furthermore, this board moderator didn't ban me or reprimanded me for these stories, in fact quite the opposite. He showed support.

I do not condone any acts of terrorism, whether committed by banned terrorist groups or by sovereign states. I'am a man of peace and believe in the fundamental human rights of freedom of spech and freedom of expression.

This is not meant to undermine your work to improve the board, but I felt that in light of the events of recent events I needed to set the record straight.

Being constantly logged in here all day long, from early in the morning, all day long, until past midnight and into the early hours, must take its toll on you, mentally and physically. I understand.

I'm not from your area, but I am from the UK. So if it would help you, I can work with you to signpost you towards some common support services that you can find in your community, via the NHS, etc. based on my experiences in helping others dealing with mental health.

I have tragically lost people from my own real world to mental health issues this year, as I have explained before, so it's important to recognise the signs and help.

Muskra, in all honesty I feel insulted that you feel the need once again to talk down to me when i have just made a valid point. You don't know me and therefore have no right to give me advice. This isn't about my mental health but you using this opportunity to insult me my intelligence by dipping this toxic reply in honey. I know exactly what you are. You are a bully who believes that the rules shouldn't apply to you just because you've got 25 years experience of doing this that and the other, which doesn't really matter to me. You're just trying to get me to escalate this situation, so you can give your friend ES some ammunition to use against me well I will not be drawn back into it.


FYI, I do have a job. I work ad hoc as a steward at football matches to keep people safe and I'am a fully qualified SIA Door Supervisor, something I have worked my ass off to achieve. Hell, I can give you my licence number if you want. So no, I don't spend my entire time on this board I have a job that I love and made many good friends. So get your facts straight.


You can save your false pity, you only demean yourself through this act of intimidation which you have coated in your sweet words and veiled insults.


I know your from the UK, but I couldn't care less where from. All I know is I have met better people than you.


And don't try to be my friend, call me Stormtrooper. Only my friends on the board have the right to call me Stormy and there's fat chance of you ever becoming my friend. If anything you are the one that needs mental health support. Showing signs of false empathy and using this as a weapon against them; that's sociopathy if I'am not much mistaken.


P.S I intend to stick around and continue my work, I have friends on this board who value my stories. Because unlike some I don't need to resort to a gimmick like A.I art to illustrate my work. All I need is one or two images and the power of the written word.

Cheers Trackman! I was hoping to help build bridges and smooth things over between him and ES, but just like in real life, you can't help everyone. But it's important to try. I declared peace from that moment in that thread above, so if he wants to continue, that's on him now. I tried.

I was going to reply to you in John's thread, but congrats on the moderator role.

Trackman, I will definitely continue what I do best and upload my stories despite whatever people like Muskra say.

But there was no misunderstanding, I knew exactly what Muskra was saying and implying. And so does he, after all we are both intelligent people. No need for him to dance around the lie. I have bullied by people like him all my life and I know a veiled insult when I see one.


Besides, I have already reported two of Muskra's comments as bullying and I demand action be taken. The board is no place for bullies. In fact, Muskra you didn't declare peace in your above remark, you declared war do not try to dress it up and make yourself like some sort of peacemaker. Your intentions were to escalate this, your condescending post to me in "Israeli Border Guard." made this abundantly clear.

I will go on record right now and I have already PMed John on the matter regarding ES and I, that I have no intention of building bridges with ES since he himself in his own style, as already burned them down.

In fact, I don't want to ever address ES again nor you for that matter. I have no time to bandy words with bullies like you. So don't even think of replying to this.

Muskra.........As stated, continue uploading your work, as I really do enjoy viewing it too.

Now I don't fully know what's happened before, but here we are as a new mod team and I just want everyone to be happy, so here's what I propose.

I enjoy both of your works, and I know for a fact that many members do too (even if they don't admit it ).

So as far as I'm concerned, this thread should be closed. I respect both of you as the amazing members that you, are as you both bring things to the table.

Stormtrooper........I was one of the members who fought by your side when she was getting accused (I'm robot meerkat). So I do know how you feel mate.

Muskra.......I've been following your work for quite a while now and I've loved every moment of it.

So please gentlemen. No more comments, no more arguments, I respect both of you EQUALLY and if you have any further issues, please send me a PM and we will talk about it.

No worries Trackman, we both have a mutual friend on discord and I remember your support of SovietLUT which was much appreciated and it's good to hear you that love my stories, thank you.

I have no objections to you closing this thread. It was never supposed be about escalating the tensions between Myself, ES and Muskra but about giving the people a chance to hear my side. It's just a shame that Muskra saw fit to use it has an opportunity try and escalate this matter.


I may take you up on that offer Trackman, for Muskra's comments have distressed me greatly and have made an already stressful situation worse. And I wish to discuss what happens next in regard to his hurtful and disgraceful comments.

So I call peace.

So do I. The mod team is barely finishing to discuss the answer we have to give to the previous controversy, and an other controversy has already arisen. We moderators are people with tight schedules. We are volunteers who devote part of our free time to the Board. We sincerly hope members can help make our work easier.

I will therefore remind an important ground rule that's currently being discussed.

The General Discussion section of the forum - or any section of the forum - isn’t there to report problems to the mod team. Reporting should be done either by sending a PM to a moderator so that they can relay the demand or by using the “report post” button.

It's up to the moderators to decide if the topic should be made public or not.

"Reporting problems" includes adressing conflicts with other board members and addressing rumors. Those are not meant to be displayed publicly.

I expect EVERY Board Member to follow that rule from now on. Any breach of said rule will be treated as such, and will warrant appropriate sanction - including the ban of the culprit. Depending on the case, this can involve both the member who start the topic AND the members who argue on the topic. The content of the topic will be irrelevant. As long as it breaks the rule, it will be sanctioned.

I ask the parties involved to NOT answer to this comment, even if it's to agree with it. This statement isn't meant to be up to debate.
