Uniform Stealing Board

So I was watching the episode “Forbidden Janet” from the TV series Weird Science (1994) the other day, and I found the plot very interesting. In this episode, one of the main characters Wyatt uses a magical helmet to create his ideal girl Janet, unfortunately a twist happens later when the helmet creates a monster that personifies Wyatt’s anger. At the end, the beautiful Janet ceased to exist along with the monster, because Wyatt had to destroy the helmet to stop the monster. Basically, I found the plot of using some method to bring a fantasy woman to life but the woman later being “destroyed” and the guy being dragged back into reality very interesting.

Anyone recalls a similar plot from mainstream?
