But we all know that even if any of us were to message John to complain about you then nothing will happen to you anyway. You've been in charge for nigh on 20 years, longer than most dictators except for Stalin. And like those guys you rule through a mixture of popular support and because there's no one else. Zhukov? The man who more or less won WW2 but was later imprisoned by Stalin for supposedly plotting against him? He was later pardoned by Kruschev, became Defence Minister and was responsible for crushing the Hungarian Revolution in 1956. And a guest star in my Cold War Story:- The Ghost of Budapest , which was inspired by the event.


Not a great comparison, he later died in ignominy poor fellow. And Besides, I wouldn't call you a conquerer.

How about Field Marshall Paulus, the man who surrended to the Red Army at Stalingrad? He who valued the lives of his men over any personal claim to glory and refused Hitler when it countered.
