Me too, I agree with you on that. The board is brutal to navigate on your phone, its why I do all my work on my tablet. Much easier to use.

I'm pretty behind on technology! Still can't grasp the Laptop box thing under the keyboard ....that thing you are meant to touch and use as navigation....I bought a cheap laptop back in 2016 and could never get the hang of it. I just stuck a mouse in it and used that!
Thing broke in less than 2 years...I didn't even use it much. Was meant to be a back up device.

Discord I am still learning how it all functions ....I joined the USB group Cynthia made. Though my account says I signed up to Discord back in 2019, I had not ever used it until last Winter when a friend sent me an invite to his page....and I only been using the private message feature so it's pretty much just like Skype to me at the moment.

But looking at the main USD page, seems a good place for image uploads and discussion. The only main issue is sites like this, especially ones that are mainstream ....often have a tendency to at some point, bring down the banhammer on certain content, or do away with certain features altogether, ala Yahoo Clubs/Groups. It's never 100% safe.

Apparently a lot of images on USD are from people who have vanished for one reason or other.
Best thing to do I think is for everyone to download all the stuff they like and back it all up on an external device. Safekeeping!!!
You just never know how much time is left on the potential ticking time bomb!

But at the moment it seems like its really growing on the content front.

Forgive me for making this even more complicated, Void, but I have a 1 T.B portable hard drive for my Xbox One. 22 games later and still got 48.2% space left. The original console only had a paltry 500GB, chicken fed compared to the consoles of current gen.


Really! Ray Stevenson, Legionary Titus Pullo is dead? Good lord. He recently was in Ashoka, the new Star Wars series coming out this summer. Well rest in piece Punisher, and Legionary Titus Pullo, a most loyal badarse. The world as lost a good actor.

SSD is certain a huge improvement over standard hard drive ....but actual storage space is still pretty low for the Xbox Series consoles. Especially given the size of games these days. The Series S/X specific version of GTA V that came out March last year is 113.9GB in file size.

Series S comes with a 500GB internal SSD and Series X 1TB. But 203GB is instantly gobbled up by the User Interface.

The real kicker is the cost of the external SSD cards that are proprietary to the Series consoles. The 1TB SSD card cost me £220 back in 2020. You actually get 920GB of useable storage space on that.

Last July I bought the 2TB card for the bargain price (!) of £389 (including postage) ....just £61 short of the cost of the Series X itself. You actually get 1.8TB of useable storage space on that. 200GB is penalised for some reason.

Adding the cost of a spare controller ....I spent £1,104 on Series X hardware since November 2020.

Did you ever watch the Spartacus show from Starz (2009-2013)?
I absolutely obsessed over that show! Must have binged watched it hundreds of times!
