The hallucinations will be of Anna herself, especially details like her eyes and auditory hallucinations like the sound of Anna's voice, repeating the orders. It's as if their brain is trying to rationalise the incident but as no memory or baseline to go off. Similar to PTSD

I know I am getting a bit obsessive with my discussion of the mind control (maybe even very obsessive) but the more information you provide the more intriguing I find it.

So we know that Anna uses her powers to erase the women's memories. However, on some level, the women obviously remember something. They see her eyes or hear her voice commanding them. No wonder it takes awhile to wear off. The women must be totally confused by what they are experiencing as they really don't remember anything else that was done to them.

So I wonder too given the mind control is psychosexual if on some level the women hearing orders such as strip off their clothes might get the women a little turned on.

It's no worries :D

On the subconscious level, they would remember every detail but given what we know in real life about our subconscious, that it is very hard to access. Except through hypnosis but even that is considered a pseudoscience.

It does definitely the mind control is about dominance .I would say that Anna's ability is like that to the Sirens from Greek myth. It overrides everything logic, common sense, self control and replaces it with one thought, desire. The women desire her, and will do everything to please her, they want to because its pleasurable to them.

The fact that they get turned on by being controlled is a side benefit. This reinforces the control and keeps them under. The older Anna becomes the longer the control will last.

Your mention of using hypnosis to probe the women's subconscious leads to thinking of a potential side story. Image Tabitha's superiors putting her under hypnosis to try and get information about Anna. The hypnotized Tabitha could even describe stripping her clothes off and what she was feeling when she did it.

Another question. You say when they are under mind control the woman desire Anna and would do anything for her. Is this the same regardless of whether under normal circumstances the woman prefers men or women? In other words, if the mind control victim is normally into guys can Anna's power make her still desire Anna?

It can even override one's preferences, so she can control straight women just as adeptly as gay or bisexual women. And even make them desire her, when under normal circumstances they wouldn't otherwise. She can unlock their latent sexuality using her power.

When I first Introduced Anna in " Of Knights and Temples pt 1" I mentioned that Anna prefers women, both sexually and for feeding. Her powers have evolved over the centuries to give Anna the edge over mortal women. So she can be a more efficient predator, which essentially what a vampire is.

But in Anna's case she uses her gifts not to kill but for her mercenary and stealth work. Ensuring she completes her contract without harming a single soul.

Anna powers over mortal women are impressive. She effortlessly and nearly instantly takes complete control of their minds. She then makes them do everything she wants them to do and they cannot resist. Then, when the women are no longer useful to her, with a simple command she puts them into a deep, long lasting sleep.

While she never asked to be turned a vampire, Anna revels in her powers and enjoys her unlife. All Anna wants to do, is get rich, steal uniforms, enjoy herself and all with Katrina by her side.

Contrast that with her sire, Gisella. She is a tyrant who desires power and control over the mortal races and will stop at nothing to achieve her ends. She loves no-one but herself.

I thought of another question about Anna's mind control that I am interested about.

When you were describing the lingering effects on a woman who has been put under full mind control you mentioned "For the full on mind control, like what Tabitha experienced the lingering effects can last for up two days or three days but is dependent on the mental state the victim pre mind control."

What exactly is it about the woman's mental state pre-mind control that impacts how long the effects last after she wakes up?

If we use Tabitha as an example, she had been guarding Katrina without relief or a break for hours, so she would be bored, feeling a little resentful of her calling maybe her mind wanders to feelings about the other novices. Along comes Anna, puts her under her spell. She suddenly feels a high, a desire for Anna that as answered her longing.

I would say that the mind control, acts like a drug. Once Tabitha as a dose she may want more. Her lingering side effects are like the withdrawal from a drug. The more weaker the mind, the more it doubts the worse the lingering side effects are, the stronger the withdrawal.

So Tabitha being bored, frustrated with her duties and allowing her mind to wander means she will have more lingering effects from the mind control.

Tabitha's boredom and mind wandering probably also made it a little easier for Anna to entrance her. Of course, it still would not have made a difference since, as we have seen, Anna has no problem taking over any mortal woman's mind.

It just makes Anna's job all the more easier. :D
