I prefer the chop but am partial to both. I just love when the victim lets out a grunt or oof before going unconscious.

Actually there was a scene in a Turkish drama where a captured assassin takes out a pretty blonde waitress (meditions and I discussed this at length and we still can't decide whether it was a sleeper hold, pressure press to the neck from the rear or an edited out neck break) and steals her uniform.
The technique displayed there, taking out the poor girl and catching the wine bottle she was holding was damned impressive.
Anyway, using a woman's weakspot to knock her out whether a press, chop or pinch are all impressive techniques to master for any skilled infiltrator looking to grab herself a disguise.

I would just go with 2X4 upside the back of the woman's head
It is possible to knock someone out with a nerve pinch, you could opening yourself to some kind to charges if you describe a method that actually works, and then nut case uses said method to knock someone out...

Second one you can not actually see where the blow lands. Third one seems like a lower head blow given how she suddenly moves her head, but the angle is hard to tell.
I suspect that these clips may be due to broadcaster regulations, depending on the type of show and what time of day it's broadcasted. Like they have to tone down the violence, a direct blow to the head may be too much!
I remember an old British show, Robin of Sherwood in the 80s. Had quite a lot of death by swords and arrows. But they could only show a fatal sword strike as a side slash and NOT a forward thrust/stabbing motion. And all hits had to be in the chest area or the back. Same with arrows. No head shots allowed!
I just remembered another really good neck chop scene. In the move The Temptress of a Thousand Faces, a woman is robbing jewelry from a fashion show. In the room where the models are getting ready a female guard is posted. She comes up to the woman and strikes her in the base of her back apparently paralyzing her. Then she simply moves her to the correct position for an easy neck chop and knocks her out.
Starts just after the 30:35 mark.

Had to watch that on another site as it's an age restricted video on Youtube!
But I watched it very carefully about 10 times....and that definitely seems like a direct head hit.
The way I see it ...it plays out like this....
She has the gun in her right hand and presses it into the back of the security guard....the sudden shock/realisation of knowing she has a gun pressed against her is what causes the guard to freeze up (her facial expression certainly suggests this also) and not make a move.
The blow comes down from a direct vertical angle which does suggest a blow to the head, accompanied by what sounds like the gun hitting the guards hat, and the hat falls off.
But it happens so fast. But this is how I interpret this scene anyway.
