Definitely impressed by the stun pistols. While it might not last as long as the SI tech, it is obviously powerful as it will knock the woman out for a couple of hours.

Indeed, since the pistols are designed for non legal pacifiction of a fugitive they need not be too powerful but are no less effective.

In the story "The Night Shift" which is technically the first Ellana story we see L & M use the stun pistols to great effect, when they captured Ellana at the hospital. So this is the first MiB gadget we see.

I know you say they "need not be too powerful" but they seem rather powerful to me. When the women are hit the effect seems pretty powerful. When hit the women seemingly have a massive disruption of their CNS and are knocked out very quickly. Seems powerful to me.

I think when the MiB engineers designed the stun pistol, they had no idea as to just how powerful their creation would be. Nor did they envisage they being used for infiltration purposes. You are right when you say they are powerful, using the nervous system of a woman to overload their CNS causing rapid unconsciousness. If you compare them with say the shock weaponry deployed by the SI, the only difference would be the duration of the unconsciousness, which doesn't necessarily equate effectiveness, that's true. I think I erred when I said they "need not be powerful", the MiBs stun pistol is a potent powerful tool and when used by skilled operators like our agents and Ellana they are invaluable tools. The women they use them on, don't stand a chance.

Seriously though, don't you think that's a bit of an exaggeration? Its my sub-forum so I update it whenever I wish.

And FYI, that's the only behind the scenes material I will post for this particular story. Which is why I posted it the way I did. And since most of the uniforms and outfits are propriety anyway.
