Indeed, it's Ellana's way of making the women calm as she administers the pinch so they dont struggle. They basically feel the pain of their nerves being compressed then the short circuiting of the CNS, hence the cry. After about 3-5 seconds of pain, she entered sleepyland and Ellana is free to assume their forms.

It is funny. In Ellana's case she can induce calm that avoids the struggle. When Kremm does it that is not necessary as his strength makes any struggle from the woman futile.

It is funny. In Ellana's case she can induce calm that avoids the struggle. When Kremm does it that is not necessary as his strength makes any struggle from the woman futile.

It's to make up her lack of super human strength, which Zenobian males naturally evolved to deal with threats. Whereas Zenobian females like Ellana have their intuition and cunning. That's not to say Ellana isn't strong, on the contrary she is stronger than the average human female and knows Zenobian martial arts but prefers to be gentle to her targets.

Kremm is all business and uses his strength to overwhelm the woman. Stronger then both human males and females, any struggles against him is futile and its inevitable that the woman is sent to sleepyland.

I think that is why I love Kremm so much! He is all business and also he has massive power. As he sneaks up on a female guard at her post we know the woman will stand no chance. His strength will completely overwhelm her and she will be put to sleep with just a pinch of Kremm's powerful fingers.

Indeed, and he always has a hammy movie line ready to try and impress Ellana. With his sneakiness, super strength and power Kremm is a formidable force and I wouldn't want to be the guard while he's sneaking around.
