Exactly, since Michaela and Liesel were the only two sentries that were on duty. If they had the Mk 2 glove, then Miranda would take them both down freeing up Nadja to watch Miranda's back, to make sure there are no surprises. Once the two sentries are down for the count, they can be concealed, stripped and restrained. It also allows the operatives to carry less gear into the field, to create team versatility. So for example Miranda acts in Stealth while Nadja watches her back.
Another example were the Mk2 could have come in handy was in End of Watch when Morales and Rodriguez took down O'Hara and Hutchins. With the Mk2, Morales could have easily taken out both women increasing efficiency and speeding up the infiltration.
