Love the infiltration starting with the Amandine and Beatrice scene. Both young, very pretty women assigned to guard duty. I love the touch that Amandine is bored and thinks nothing will happen but Beatrice is nervous worried about a vampire attack (which of course is exactly what happens).

I love the discussion by Beatrice: "No you don't get it. Eloise was found bitten and naked under the wall, Anna Volker got to her. Then poor Tabitha, she was found naked in Katrina's cell. She spent the last two days after muttering "Pretty eyes" over and over. Mind control, Ammi, I tell you Volker can get in your head, make you do...things." We get both an update on Tabitha as well as Beatrice’s fun little mention of the mind control’s effect.

It is fun the way Ammi tells B she will protect her and that they will be able to handle Anna and Kat but then, seconds later, with just a mention of their names from Anna, both woman fall deeply under Anna’s mind control. Both women are immediately under Anna’s full control and are powerless to resist her commands.

Love Katrina giving Anna the idea to have girls strip each other. I like too Katina’s comment: “Bloody hell, Anna they are cute. I will take pigtails, she is my size. That leaves the hot brunette for you.” This is fun as it shows the women are basically tools to them but they will still have some fun.

And given you explanation of how the mind control works my guess is Ammi and B got a little turned on while stripping each other.

And of course we get the great scene where with the simple sleep command both women slump to the ground deeply unconscious. And of course the image of the two naked women stuffed in a crate together. Wow.

The Agatha scene was awesome. Thanks for doing my idea. Love the idea of her sitting at the desk bored when Anna and Kat approach. Just as she recognized Kat, Anna takes control of her mind. With a simple comment from Anna, Agatha is under complete control.

Love the idea of Anna giving her the sleep command for when she returns to the desk. Love them hearing the thud of Agatha’s body hitting the floor after she returned to her desk, sat down and immediately fell asleep due to Anna’s command to the entranced woman.

The Jana take out by Rowan was also great. Love the “Hi, I just need a couple of things from you. I like your uniform." comment from Rowan. She then attacks so quickly poor Jana cannot do anything. Rowan drinks a bit of the pretty redhead’s blood while she gives her a good dose of vampire venom that will keep the woman asleep for hours.

Just so many nice touches in this chapter! Thanks for posting. Just continue love to see Anna using her mind control. Has such a great effect on the women she uses it on.
Thanks Meditions142 😀

I had the most fun writing the scene with Ammi and B, I based it on the scene in "End of Watch." But with added mind control.

The idea with Agatha hit me, when Kat said she had spent way to much time in the library as an intitiate. So undoubtedly Agatha would know her. Again, Anna was at hand to put the mind manipulation on her and maintain their cover, dropping B's name. Using her to get information and sending her to sleep.

And with Rowan, I got the idea from Assassins Creed. In the game, you can whistle to attract a guard on a wall. You can then stab them with the hidden blade and pull them over. Using my imagination I added a touch of Vampire magic and turned it non-lethal.

The final chapter of the series run, will see Anna and Rowan attempt to rescue Kat and a final battle with Gisella for the fate of the world. It will be unique as the enemies and uniform donors will be vampires.

I definitely see the similarity to the end of watch scene. Love those scenes with the obvious guards suddenly taken out while chatting with each other.

Great doing that kind of scene with mind control. You write the scenes so well. All Anna has to do is read a woman's mind to get her name and then she can take total control of the woman. And it is so much fun how powerful she is. Here she so easily controls two women at once.

And Don't forget the scene after Kat's abduction. There Anna commands an entire group of 5 Novices to attack some vampire templars, so she and Rowan can escape. I put that in as an extension of her power, a sign that Anna is growing in strength.

The final chaper will see more mind manipulation plus one unique use of mind control, during the final battle with Gisella.

Definitely cannot forget that scene. Love that Anna could immediately entrance the five Novices and send them to battle for her. I assume however it probably didn't work out well for those poor girls.

I wonder what the limit is on how many women Anna can control at once?

In my newspaper epilogue, I mentioned that a few novices did assist the guard but ultimately they were no match for a battle hardened vampire. That alluded to to the fate of the five young novices.

I think that the mind control does require a lot of energy for Anna to pull of, as she is a young vampire the limit is 5 people. I think that she derived power from her grief and anger.

But Gisella is an ancient elven vampire, who is least nearly a thousand years. She was able to fool and corrupt an entire chapter of the Holy Church with her shape-shifting and using their faith against them. If Anna were to live that long, who knows what she could be capable of.

By the way, wanted to note the comment from Beatrice about Tabitha "She spent the last two days after muttering "Pretty eyes" over and over."

This is interesting. Clearly even after Tabitha woke up from being put to sleep by Anna, the mind control still had some lingering effects on her.

This makes me wonder, what are the lingering effects of the mind control on the women and how long do those effects last?

For the full on mind control, like what Tabitha experienced the lingering effects can last for up two days or three days but is dependent on the mental state the victim pre mind control.

For the mind manipulation, recovery can occur in 1 hour 2 dependent on what task the victim as meant to perform, so for Dora the guard, Sister Agatha and the Minstrel it would be about two hours. For more strenuous tasks it would be much longer. They will have no memory of doing the act.

For simple distractions, recovery can be up to 10 minutes.

The lingering effects of the mind control, that Tabitha experienced would be insomnia, feelings of anxiety, paranoia, hallucinations and short term memory loss.

Thanks for the information.

So simple distraction only lasts as long as needed. Therefore, for example, the female guard in Of Knights and Temples Part 2 would quickly be back to herself.

Poor Tabitha on the other hand would be a bit of a mess for awhile. I guess that is better than what Anna could have done to her if she was more willing to be like her old self.

Interesting that the victims of the full mind control actual might even hallucinate for awhile. I wonder what they might think they see?

The hallucinations will be of Anna herself, especially details like her eyes and auditory hallucinations like the sound of Anna's voice, repeating the orders. It's as if their brain is trying to rationalise the incident but as no memory or baseline to go off. Similar to PTSD

In a sense Ammi,B and Jana were lucky, considering the fate of the other novices who fought against their corrupted sisters.

I know I am getting a bit obsessive with my discussion of the mind control (maybe even very obsessive) but the more information you provide the more intriguing I find it.

So we know that Anna uses her powers to erase the women's memories. However, on some level, the women obviously remember something. They see her eyes or hear her voice commanding them. No wonder it takes awhile to wear off. The women must be totally confused by what they are experiencing as they really don't remember anything else that was done to them.

So I wonder too given the mind control is psychosexual if on some level the women hearing orders such as strip off their clothes might get the women a little turned on.
