Indeed. This may be exactly what happens. When the round hits her it releases a concussive wave. The wave disrupts her brain and CNS. She is quickly knocked out and will be out for a decent amount of time as her body recovers from the shock wave.
The girl does let out a yelp when she is hit so I assume she experiences a bit of pain before she loses consciousness.

That would be from the impact of the bullet as it does hit her chest with some force. Then the wave shuts down her CNS and she's out like a light. Plenty of time for Najica to strip her, and stash her then complete her mission.
