One very minor point though, there is no lance corporal rank in the RAF nor are women allowed in the RAF Regiment. Most likely she would have been a corporal (acting) in the RAF Police or SACW in the station guard force.

Anyway, just thought you'd want to know.

Thank you for the input, I didn't know that.

I find it odd, that compared with the Royal Navy and Army, the RAF seem a little behind the times with the deployment of female service personnel. I mean they have women on subs and disarming bombs for the Army.
