To everyone, thanks for all the kind encouragements! I have a few ideas for an eventual sequel, but it's mostly disjointed scenes as of now, and I'm trying to find a plot to tie them together.

To Tirepanted: I liked the scene with the scientist too. I like the idea that, while others are innocent bystanders, some of the "victims" aren't necessarily nice people and may have deserved some "karma".

I hesitated for a long time between setting the story in the "real world" or in a fictional setting, and ultimately chose the latter because it gave me more freedom when writing the plot. I tried to put just enough informations about this fictional world for readers to understand what was going on and what were the stakes, but not too much in order to not lose focus on the Uniform Stealing scenarios.

To Esercito Sconfitto: I also like when the heroes have to mug 'innocent' victims for the greater good (wether they are part of an evil organization or not). That's why I have them be not too much "mean" with them if they can help it.

Yes, as you easily guessed by her importance in the dialogues, there are plans for Emery to appear in an eventual sequel. However, she's not exactly a soldier. She's more of an assassin. Think of her as a hitwoman, but who exclusively works for the Rebellion. Though they do send her sometimes on military camps to slit a few sentries' throats, it's very unlikely that there will be a story in which she's the main character. It would involve a lot of killings and I'm not a fan of lethal takedowns. At all.

Thanks for the compliment in your PS!

Klenia is one of the characters I enjoy writing the most. I'll try to give her a bigger role in the future. As for giving more details about her, I'm thinking of writing a quick post in which I would describe the main characters (and perhaps give a few informations on the antagonists of the story). Although I won't be able to give an actress to serve as reference point, as I didn't imagine them with someone specific in mind.

As for the takedown of the students in the last scene, I didn't envision it as that brutal. (It probably has to do something with the fact that I tend to imagine the characters more as cartoon or anime characters; genres in which scenes like three people entering a room, followed by stocksounds of punches, can seem less crudely violent.) They mostly aimed for the belly but, yes, I guess there would be several bruises and a black eye or two. (No broken nose though, they didn't want to hurt them too much ;) ).
