Rufusluciusivan, thanks, I have a weakness for vans filled with girls tied up and unconscious in their undies, pity only four
You're welcome.
It's sadly true my vans are rarely filled to the brim with girls... I blame my laziness for that.

Taylor is indeed a former black op - a rogue agent of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. "Best Canadian secret agent" doesn't sound that much fearsome, but she's nonetheless as deadly as any elite assassin - and that's without taking her powers into consideration.
I was rereading this story (because I enjoyed it so much the first time) and got thinking about Taylor.
In this chapter she uses a Vagus Nerve Pinch on the two health inspectors and the office worker. And she uses a neck chop on the secretary.
Obviously given Taylor's skills these were effective methods. The women were all easily rendered unconscious.
However, I have to wonder for simplicity why didn't Taylor just uses her electricity? As you described in Bitter Aftermath " A mere touch overloaded her victim’s senses, even through the clothes, and made their brains shut down." Seems this would have been an easier method to render the women unconscious.
I recall you noting that Taylor prefers to not show how powers. Maybe that was the reason.
I also have to wonder about Taylor's electric touch. How long does it keep the woman unconscious and does she have any side effects?

It's always a pleasure to hear when you enjoyed a story so much you go back rereading it some time later.
Long story short, Taylor has a very complicated relationship with her powers.
Short version: Taylor wants her accomplishments to be the result of her own hard work and training. She feels like her powers are something akin to being born with a "cheat code", and she resents them for that. She feels that using them cheapens her accomplishments.
Long version: There was a time when Taylor was a patriotic young woman who was eager to serve her country. So eager in fact that she discreetly used bits of her powers - most importantly her speed - to give her an edge during exams. That's how she managed to become part of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. And not just merely the CSIS - but actually a member of its most secret bureau.
Then she realized what it meant exactly to be a government-trained black op... But at that point, it was too late. She had already become an assassin, and you can't exactly resign such a job... Taylor became disillusioned with government and justice that day. She became the cold cynical woman she is now. And subconsciously Taylor knows... she knows she wouldn't have become a black op had she not cheated with her powers... So she hates her powers even more. Basically, she thinks she's a fraud and a killer - and both times it's because of her powers.
The touch doesn't have other side-effect. The woman stays unconscious for a longer time than with a real stun gun. A couple of hours - in-between one and three - for the average fit woman.

That is a wonderfully detailed and intriguing answer about Taylor's powers and her relationship with them. Thank you so much for providing it.
What is awesome is that even if Taylor doesn't use her electrical touch she can still easily render a woman unconscious. I am so glad she knows how to perform the wonderful neck pinch!
And I do have to say that I love to imagine Sarah and Taylor working as a team. The idea of idea of Sarah manipulating a woman's mind to make her calm and relaxed and thereby making her an easy target for Taylor is absolutely amazing. As you described it Sarah has the ability" to respectively numb or overload another person's emotions." As you have said, it is not really mind control but, in a way, she does control the woman enough to make her helpless and not in a position to resist Taylor's attack.
And thanks for the description of what the shock itself. It obviously is quite powerful for it to knock a woman out as long as it does. Glad it doesn't cause the woman any side-effects. However, I can image that for the brief moment before she is rendered unconscious it is bit painful for her.

You're welcome. Those snippets of backstory are actually hard to include in the stories proper without it feeling forced or breaking the pace of uniform stealings themselves, so I'm always glad when I have an opportunity to discuss them at length in comments.

Hopefully you enjoyed the few instances of them working together. All uniformed women of this saga are most likely thankful Sarah has no stomach for violence. If not, her and Taylor's duo would be unstoppable.

A brief jolt of pain, then the entire body is left paralyzed, and the victim falls unconscious shortly afterwards.

A brief jolt of pain, then the entire body is left paralyzed, and the victim falls unconscious shortly afterwards.
I can imagine a wonderful scene. A young brunette female guard is standing outside a room that the team needed to access. Taylor begins to approach disguised an a cleaner. However, the guard, not recognizing her face, stiffens and gets a bit nervous.
Sarah is hiding just down the hall and that is her cue to act. She begins manipulating the woman's mind and relaxes her and makes her less concerned about not recognizing Taylor. With the woman's mind overwhelmed by Sarah's manipulation, Taylor casually walks up to her, stands directly in front of her, glances down at her ID badge and says "Hello Meagan". She then reaches out towards the unresisting brunette's neck and as soon as she touches it releases her charge.
Meagan winches and cries out "ahh" as she feels the initial jolt of pain. She then goes silent, stairs blankly into space, and stands completely still as her body has been paralyzed. The charge has, as you described it, overloaded Meagan's senses and in a short time her brain shuts down and her pretty brown eyes roll back. With a soft sigh she begins to collapse to the floor unconscious and Taylor catches her.
Taylor than realizes the lock requires a retinal scan. Hoping it works she turns the unconscious body around, thumbs the eyelid back, gently moves the eyeball and puts the woman's pretty face up against the scanner. She is rewarded with a beep and green light. The door slides up and Taylor drags the body inside. The rest of the team follows.
As Taylor searches for what they came for one of the team strips Meagan's uniform off her leaving her in her matching light green sports bra and boyshorts. Knowing their missions from this point forward will be quick, and knowing Meagan will not be waking up for at least an hour and probably much longer they don't bother tying her up.

"Like a moth to a flame..." Charlotte concludes as she adjusts Megan's uniform and her facial features contort and begin mimicking Megan's - albeit chubbier.
"You better not be thinking of nicknaminging me "Moth-Catcher"." Taylor warns her evenly.
"I wasn't."
"Yes you were."

Cool idea for a scene. Don't know if I'll be able to include it in the next parts of the saga, as the climax is nearing, but if I find a way (or for an eventual prequel), do I have the permission to use the idea?

You absolutely have my permission. Would love to see you incorporate a scene like this if you can!

Indeed I did enjoy the few scenes of Taylor and Sarah coordinating their efforts.
I have to say that the scene in this chapter with the office worker has to be one of my all time favorites. We get the wonderful first person account of what Sarah is doing to manipulate the woman's mind. Then we see that because of what Sarah is doing to the woman Taylor can just casually walk up behind her and pinch her Vagus Nerve. Then we get the great description: "The woman’s eyes widen. She lets out a moan, and her body becomes limp. Taylor catches her mid-fall."
And of course I love the scene with the secretary too! Thanks to Sarah's manipulation the woman lets the team in the restricted area. And then she is easily taken out with Taylor's neck chop.
