Simply Put
simply put, I am changing my previously negative view about the AI pictures, and my change of mind is based on the extraordinary works by Al Zako at Pixiv

Re: Simply Put
So that means you’re completely fine with AI stealing art from artists?

Re: Simply Put
As far as we know, AI works by stealing elements from a human artist's work and putting them into its own.
This leads to a very homogeneous AI drawing at the moment.
Because there are many people who draw "a standing girl" (generally leaning forward and showing the chest), the common works of AI are also "a standing girl", rather than some other unique poses.
I've seen some drawings of "dead female soldiers" on PIXIV before, made by AI. There's a lot of trouble in the painting, and the rope that hung the body wasn't even drawn right.
The reason is easy to understand, because humans draw too few "hanged female soldiers", there is not enough material for AI to copy, so AI draws the wrong, even the rope is wrong.
In the same situation, there are very few painters who paint "Uniform Stealing", which is a niche hobby, and there are not a lot of works for AI to copy, so I don't think AI can paint much good works now.

Hi friends,
As a fellow artist, I just want to say that I think AI is an inevitable factor in the future artwork community, I wouldn't look at it as an enemy, a competitor, but a very very helpful tool to explore more of human mind and ideas. Lets' see the AI work as a new base for artist to thrive out more into the endless possibility, that we can reach. In fact, I'm highly excited about Mid Journey and Stable Diffusion.
PS: I'm not mean to cause any heated argument in our board, just like to share my humble opinion.
PPS: This comment is surely not created by Chat GPT. Haha

Thanks, I'm actually just a little angry, not at the AI, but at the people who aren't using it well.cuccut59579 wrote: Wed Jun 07, 2023 12:44 pm Hi friends,

it's like when a person learns to use youtube or Twitter and starts Posting endless selfies to show themselves, but the videos/photos are ugly, both the people in them and the overall picture.
This really annoys me.
It's like watching a bad TV show or movie, especially when it's everywhere.

A person without any creative talent, (the ability to draw or write) may have a story Idea and want to share that idea.
They can't draw or write, so they are unable to express or share their story.
AI could assist them with creating and expressing their idea.
I've been unable to draw because of nerve damage in my hand.
I still have story ideas all the time, however I can't put this stuff to paper.
If AI could help me share my stories by artificially creating my ideas, I'd jump at that chance.
However, I absolutely agree with most arguments against AI though.
Sorry to throw my two cents in.

Re: Simply Put
About ten years ago, one night while watching TV, I accidentally saw a detective program.
A male foreigner was found dead in a hotel, lying on the bed and shot in the back.
A female corpse was found soaking in water in the bathtub of the bathroom, and the cause of death was strangled by a towel. Her uniform is piled up beside her (a blue kimono, skirt is a bit short, short boots).
This woman provides massage services to people in a hotel.
Firstly, there is a "guess" that contains a first person perspective.
After entering the house, the murderer first killed the foreigner with a silencing pistol, and then entered the bathroom to wash the unintentional blood stains on his body. However, he found a woman taking a bath in the bathtub, so he strangled the woman with the bathroom towel.
Then three suspects appeared, all of whom were guests staying at this hotel.
1. The secretary of a foreigner, a male Chinese.
2. A blonde foreign woman. Claiming to be a tourist
3. A Women in China. Self proclaimed as a merchant selling cosmetics.
Then the detective speculated on the true criminal process,
The waitress who provided a massage came out of the elevator and walked towards the foreigner's room. The killer strangled her in the hallway with a towel (the towel was from the killer's room, and the hotel towel was the same. Afterwards, all you need to do is change the towel from the foreigner's room). Then he dragged the corpse into the Utility room, let the corpse lie on the cart (the kind of cart transporting bed sheets and quilt covers), and began to take off the victim's kimono.
The door of the foreigner's room rang, and the killer appeared wearing a kimono. The foreigner was lying on the bed waiting for a massage, and the killer rode on his back and shot him.
The assassin pushed the cart into the bathroom, lifted the cloth covering it, and inside was the naked victim who had been strangled by her. She put the body into the bathtub, added water to the bathtub, took off her uniform and placed it on the side, then put on her own clothes and left the room with the cart.
This video left a deep impression on me, and even now I can still remember the shots inside.
I really want to use my software to recreate this story because I can't find this video of this program online.
Unfortunately, there are three key points.
1. The hotel towel that strangled the victim was a key factor that misled the police into thinking that the waiter was killed in the bathroom.
I don't have a 'towel that can be used to strangle people' model.
2. The kimono worn by the victim is a bit special, and the skirt looks a bit short, which is why I can see that she is wearing short boots. Similar to Yuna in 'FINAL FANTASY X'.
I really like this uniform and don't want to replace it with another one.
I don't have such a clothing model.
3. A handcart for transporting corpses.
I don't have either.
So, if AI can help me achieve my wishes, I will still be very happy.
