The Butler Did It

This is simply a short USB story I had in mind and wanted to create.

At an airport in Washington D.C., a woman boards an A380 Airbus plane bound for Dubai. She’s wearing a casual suit consisting of a grey blazer and pants, a black turtleneck, and ankle boots. As a first-class passenger, a flight attendant greets her and escorts the woman as she walks aboard to her first class seating dubbed an ‘apartment’ due to it being furnished as a tiny room including an armchair, a sofa that reclines into a bed, a full length mirror, TV, and a sliding door for the passenger’s complete privacy. She eyes the flight attendant up and down as she goes over the amenities, focusing mainly on the uniform. It blends a style of elegance and sophistication with a patterned blouse, jacket, skirt, beret, and a scarf in a mix of chocolate brown and pink.

“Would you like a drink, madame? Perhaps an introductory Arabic coffee? ” The flight attendant produces a menu listing the various drinks offered on the flight, holding it out so it could be read.

She gives the attendant a smile with a quick low bow of her head, “No thank you. It’s a short flight anyway.”

The attendant nods in understanding, “Of course, madam. Thank you for boarding early, we’ll be departing in approximately forty minutes from now. Please enjoy the flight, if you require anything feel free to flag down another flight attendant or use the call button on the TV remote.” With that, the attendant departs, closing the privacy doors behind her.

Now alone with some privacy the woman sets down the purse she brought with and takes a seat in the armchair. The rest of her luggage had already been taken care of earlier.

The woman’s name is Naomi Koga, though she boarded the flight under the alias of Grace Nakamura. Naomi is of Japanese-American descent and has a youthful appearance, appearing to be in her early twenties when she’s nearly pushing 29. Her black hair is short and styled into a choppy bob, and she stands at a height of approximately 5’6” without heels. Though she was roughly two to three inches taller because of her ankle boots.

Naomi is a specialist agent for a secretive organization known as GHOST or simply ‘The Agency’ for which their headquarters is named. GHOST acts as an international spy agency that takes on contracts for clients. Whether that be anything from infiltration, VIP security, extraction, to assassination. They have the people and ability to do nearly any job so long as their services are paid for.

Her expertise in particular was in the line of infiltration or jobs related to it such as assassination. Something she excelled at greatly, being one of the top agents in the category. At GHOST, agents have the choice of taking on jobs of their choosing or being suggested one by their manager, though sometimes they may be assigned to one without choice.

For this particular assignment, Naomi had been tasked with assassinating a businessman by the name of Jordan Belmonte. An affluent legal advisor from New York City with ties to gun smugglers and human trafficking in the Middle East and Europe.

She’d already done her research on Jordan and discovered he had booked a flight on USBair on their exclusive ‘The Residence’ seat. It was bigger than their first class apartments, essentially being a private three room space that included a sitting room, bathroom, and bedroom. One of the key selling features of booking the residence was access to a private in-flight butler.

Naomi was familiar with the residence seat, being that she had resided in it during one flight, quite an experience might she add. The in-flight butler would solely serve the guest staying in the residence, but may also tend to first-class passengers. The butler would wait by the boarding gate to personally greet, escort, and introduce the guest to the room. However, Naomi noticed the butler wasn’t standing by the boarding gate, perhaps they were still preparing.

An important fact to note was that the butler could be either male or female. Naomi had prepared for this in advance, getting a dossier of the flight crew aboard. As luck would have it, a little over half the crew were assigned to this plane the previous day meaning that they would be unfamiliar with the other crew members. And as it would have it,, the butler assigned to the flight was a female. Naomi’s main plan heavily relied on this being the case. A part of that plan also included purchasing as many of the first-class apartments as possible to reduce potential witnesses. There were nine and she had managed to secure eight of them including the one for herself using company assets, the last one was already reserved for a bodyguard that accompanied Jordan at nearly all times. Though the seats would be empty for the supposed no-show passengers, the airline rarely allowed another passenger to take the seat except for certain situations even if empty.

Naomi reached for her purse and from within a hidden pocket padded with a special alloy to bypass metal detectors, retrieved a small syringe filled with a blue liquid. Checking her watch, 2:21PM, she had 39 minutes before Jordan was expected to arrive. Standing up from her seat and opening the privacy door, Naomi poked her head out to see who was around- no one. Which was both good and bad. Good because there were no flight attendants or passengers around. Bad because that meant wasting precious time waiting to carry out her plan.

Fortunately, Naomi only had to wait two minutes before the door to the private residence room door opened and out stepped the flight’s butler, most likely they had been prepping the room for Jordan’s arrival. The butler, whose name was Anna, was Caucasian with light skin, had blonde hair done in a French twist, and was about two inches taller than Naomi’s natural height. The butler uniform she wore consisted of a chocolate brown tailcoat and vest, a dress shirt with a chocolate brown tie, vanilla white gloves, and suit pants with low pumps. Anna also wore a watch just like flight attendants did.

“Excuse me,” Naomi called out to Anna to get her attention as she hid the syringe behind her back with her left hand. She absolutely couldn’t miss her chance now especially with no one else around.

Anna came over to Naomi, giving her a smile as she greeted her, “Yes, miss? Do you need help with something?” The butler stood at attention with her hands clasped and her posture straight, exhibiting a professional and trained demeanor as expected from a butler.

“There seems to be an issue with the TV, it won’t turn on. I grabbed you since you happened to be in the hallway. Do you mind taking a look?”

“Of course, allow me to see if the issue can be resolved.”

Naomi smiled at Anna and nodded, stepping off to the side in what little space there was so the butler could enter to take a look at the apparent problem, completely unaware of the danger that would befall her. This left Anna with her back to Naomi, just as she wanted.

She closed the privacy doors behind Anna as she entered, who immediately checked on the TV bending over slightly to inspect it and the controls. Anna immediately pressed the power button to her surprise turning it on with no issue, “Miss? What was the problem exactly? It seems to be working perfectly fine.”

“Oh, it’s working perfectly fine indeed. I’ll be taking over your job duties for a few hours now.” Anna barely had time to let out a confused, “Huh?” Before Naomi’s hand was clamped over her mouth and she was pulled backward, with the syringe and its contents that Naomi had been hiding soon entering Anna’s neck.

The butler, overtaken by the sudden attack, offered little resistance to Naomi’s trained and experienced iron grip with no effort on her part. Anna could only struggle and let out muffled screams that went unheard, unfortunately for her nobody would be coming to the rescue. After a few more moments Anna’s body went limp, lowering into Naomi’s body as she let out one last muffled moan.

Naomi pulled the syringe from out of Anna’s neck and gently set the butler down in the small space she had to work with. Tossing the syringe back into her purse she kneeled over Anna’s limp and sleeping form, “Don’t resist next time, it’ll be over faster that way.” She checked her watch, 2:25PM. That left her 35 minutes to get into place, plenty of time by her guess.

She started by unbuttoning Anna’s tailcoat and sitting her up so it could be taken off. Next, Naomi took off her pumps and set them aside, going up from there she unbuckled Anna’s belt then unbuttoned and unzipped her trousers, working them down Anna’s thighs then finally off her legs. Anna wore a black thong with a very visible cameltoe which Naomi found kinky for someone who she thought would be wearing something more modest. Naomi removed Anna’s white gloves, her watch, and then moved on to remove her tie and unbutton her shirt and vest. With those all taken off Anna was left naked in only her thong and a padded bra.

With Anna stripped of her butler uniform, Naomi simply lifted her up and laid her down on the reclining sofa before draping a blanket over Anna to cover her completely. The sedative that she had injected would keep her asleep for at least six hours, enough to cover the four-hour flight time so Naomi didn’t bother to bind and gag Anna.

Brilliant work. I loved the takedown of poor Anna. Tricking her with a supposedly broken TV. Nicely done.

It was a really good Introduction to Naomi and I enjoyed discovering about her employer Ghost

All in all, I love the setting, it was a very enjoyable first part and I really am looking forward to seeing the second part.

Also congratulations as I believe you are the first person to have an airline butler be replaced. So nice work in discovering a new type of uniform to steal.

Nice way to introduce your character and setting, short but with enough details. Same for the descriptions.

I appreciated a lot some of the details that added to the realism, especially how you mention that Naomi checked that the butler would be female, how you take into consideration the precise time left that Naomi ha,s and the idea of not bothering with tying up someone if you know the knock-out serum will keep them out of commission long enough. A way to set the scene apart. Plus, it's realistic.

Truth be told, I couldn't think of an airline name and I didn't want to use a real one so why not make a clear reference to the board?

A good intro to the main character, concise descriptions, adherence to detail, and to top it off, a well done USB scene. I like how confident Naomi is in the potency of her knockout drug that she doesn't even bother to bind and gag Anna.
