Diana squirmed uncomfortably as the rough post and the ropes dug into her flesh. In the dim light, she could see the gleam of gold from her costume shining...shining on the body of her captor. Diana raised her voice to protest, but the ballgag prevented her from forming any words--a muffled MMPHH was all she could say. Her captor--the woman who had completely fooled Diana smiled and placed her hand on Diana's cheek.
"You had a good run," she said. "But after I compel you to forget everything about your life, you'll just be another nameless soul, lost to the world."
Diana's eyes widened in fear and she shook her head in disbelief.
The woman took a length of the golden lasso into her hand, and smiled. "It won't do you any good to protest," she said. "I'm Wonder Woman now!"
